I'm an Android user (oneplus 3t in fact) but it really annoys me how some people say iPhones are shit, because they clearly aren't. iPhones are great phones, but for me the 3t is massively better in terms of value for money.
The iPhone was obviously slower to go back to Asphalt 8. It showed a screenshot at first, but it wasn't loaded yet. Really interesting video though! The 3T rocks!
Dude, why do you keep opening an app in your speed tests that's so buggy, it's doesn't respond in 2 hours waiting? And why do you open the Google photos gallery instead of the original phone's one? Good job, but do it right.
Also, Chrome on ios is just a gimmick. You should have tested the sites on safari instead. It's just like using safari on Android (i know it's not available, but you get the idea).

Actually in web browsing iPhone finishes loading the full web page first, and also in some of your websites it loaded images/text before the OP3T, even if the OP3T shows the page first (even if not fully loaded).. But yet the OP3T makes you interact with the internet page before the iP7+ does, so it's still better, but not by that much :D

The iPhone finishes first, so in terms of "pure speed" we can say it's a tie in web browsing, but the OP3 is more efficient because you don't have to wait to interact with the page. The AppStore apps are far more optimised for iOS, if you want to develop apps and make a living. You'd most likely do it on iOS and not android for obvious reasons. Accessory support is pretty much guaranteed for the lifetime of i7, OnePlus could barely get a few cases going. And lastly but not least is Apple customer support, this alone is worth of $300 increase, probably the best team of "humans" that truly care about customers. Last year my 2 year old iPhone 6 was having battery issues, dying at 10%, after calling them a few times for battery replacement they had a hiccup that they forgot to email me the reply. A manager personally contacted me a day later to tell me that my iPhone's repair costs will all be free of charge and that I would not get my iPhone back but rather a brand new one. OnePlus can't even measure up to that.

Here's the thing i am not really thrilled about customisation to be honest and i dont know if it will affect me as much i have been an android user all my life ever since i have had a phone but i really dont know why but for the first time i am attracted to an iphone i dont use VR so the resolution isnt an issue for me but I'm concerned about battery life in comparison to the one plus 3T i want to choose between these phones and it comes down to choosing between the features that one plus offers like the fingerprint lock for apps and the v and circle gestures and those kind of things but the apple just feels soo fluid in use dont get me wrong the one plus 3T looks fluid as well but i am soo confused between these phones i dont know what to choose.?

Second, turning animations off improves a lot the screen unlock, even if OP would still be the clear winner there, and it improves everything by just a few milliseconds in general, but in the end that's the difference between the 2 devices in most of the cases: milliseconds. Then look for example at twitter, the iPhone has the animation zooming in the logo and that slows down the app opening, even if that's a particular case and it doesn't apply for every app. And another improvement is in closing an app since it would immediately show the home screen.. But that's not something which is part of the speedtest, just a little side note.

op3t has quicker animations so it will win when launching some of the apps and the fingerprint scanner speed. But iphone with slower animations still loads up some apps almost as fast. basically iphone is faster in some apps but loses cause of slower animations
thanks, i'd expect V30 to win since it's SD835 vs 821 and the 3T is also a year old (tech slows down over time), but we'll see first how OP5 does vs V30 and then go from there.
I have the Oneplus 3T and I can assure you that its model is a3000 as well. The only way to differentiate the two is with the metal color on the back which is different or using an app that shows all the internal hardware and so there you will see that it has the S821 processor instead of the S820 and a 16mp front camera instead of an 8mp one. Oh and on the box too of course which says 3T. Hope it helps !

Why didn't you open up youtube app during multitasking test? Normally the iPhone will reload that app.
