Thanks for these super useful videos. I thought you also uploaded a video on how to change transfer case fluid for the glc 300 as well. But I couldn't find it anymore. I was hoping to use your diy video to change my transfer case fluid. Do you still have it on your channel?
Hi I did make a video but I had to delete it since it turned out that we were given the wrong procedure and I had to contact someone who works at Mercedes and they let me know what the correct procedure is so I am going to remake the video again. Meanwhile this video here is the same as what I am going to do so you can check this video first if you don't want to wait for mine. I am sorry about this but it wasn't my fault. I am waiting for the vehicle to come back so I can make the proper video. Thanks Here is the link - th-cam.com/video/28TUfAM4xvE/w-d-xo.html
Great video. Unfortunately the drain bolt on my car is extra tight and I’m unable to break it loose with your technique. Any advice on what else I can try to break it loose?
(1) Capri Tools 19 mm Combination Wrench, 12 Point, Metric, Chrome and (2) CTA Tools 1136 Transmission Fill Plug Socket, 14MM Stubby. These 2 items helped me loosen front and rear diffs no problem.
Great Video! I went to the dealer. They wanted $95 a liter for their differential fluid!
Wow that's a rip off! They usually charge around $45 to $50 but $95 wow... STEALERSHIP unfortunately... Thanks! 👍
Can I ask what fluid is used for the transfer case?
