I am also facing the same issue with my iPhone X but touch works sometimes and sometimes doesn’t but if i force restart it for multiple times then it starts working again. So can you tell what’s wrong with my iPhone.

It could be your lcd screen. It hard to tell without going through a proper diagnose.
