Lots of thanks from my side. i want to know you that how much days or months you take to reach 240wpm . or where you were typing except monkeytype. You said on your monkeytype profile that if anyone has doubt we can ask you please answer these doubts.
hI! sorry for the late response but i'll give my thoughts on it personally, double letters slow me down alot too but alt-fingering does help alot, if you are using home-row then words like "need", "look", "follow" and etc will be really slow, alt-fingering is basically where you change where you hit your keys depending on the word, so i would type "o" with my middle and "l" with my index, hope this helped a bit!
@@s0ldier76 um well it's kinda hard to see without any background or context but ill give my favorite tips 1. learn touch typing, more fingers = usually better 2. consistent practice, 15min per day > 1 hour per week 3. typing words at a flow, reading word by word instead of letter by letter 4. reading ahead, maybe 2 words ahead, you can use the funbox plus two to help with this, however i feel like it will create bad habits 5. speeding up on easier words and slowing down on words that has uncomfortable letters 6. look more into alt-fingering, shaz has a really great guide but with homerow (on qwerty that i know of so far,) is really inefficient and slow. shaz guide: th-cam.com/video/dqDF04EJCnM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bhdDWZwpptw4-6Ho 7. the video also has the 3 cores of typing, which is acc, raw and endurance which shaz goes more detail inside of the video 8. play more quotes that has more realistic typing, doing monkeytype will create more plateaus, atleast in my experience if you have any questions about those or any questions in general you can ask me and ill try my best to answer
it's perfectly fine, this video is very subjective and monkeytype is very customizable, feel free to use whatever settings that you are most pleased with!
