The problem with the David Burke red card is the adverse media commentary will lead to refs raising the threshold for a red card for a similar incident. This happened in 2019 when Tony Kelly got an unwarranted red card for a supposed head high challenge in a league game v Tipp. Everyone criticised that decision & it meant that head high challenges got progressively more dangerous as the season progressed. I was at the Cork v KK qtr-final that year & Cooper (Cork) nearly took the head off Hogan & should've been red-carded. However, Richie hopped up a lot quicker than Cooper & he only got a yellow. In the semi-final Cillian Buckley somehow avoided a red card for a near decapitation of Barry Nash. My understanding of the aftermath was the refs got together & concluded that it was getting out of hand as evidenced by the Buckley challenge. KK & Richie Hogan suffered the consequences. Ironically the ref that didn't send off Cooper in the qtr-final for doing Richie Hogan was the ref who sent off Richie for the elbow on Barrett. Another coincidence is the ref that sent off David Burke on Sunday was the same fella who sent off Tony Kelly v Tipp in 2019. Ultimately we need to eradicate these head-high challenges from the game so when a ref makes a marginal call (such as a the red card for Burke) we shouldn't criticise the ref for erring on the side of player safety rather than ensuring the fans have an engaging spectacle.
What about the penalty award to Kilkenny, forward brought down outside big square when there were three defenders around him. How could that be a clear goal scoring opportunity.
What ya mean he gave the ref a decision to make what ya expect him to do move out the way and let him run straight through there no way that's a red card

Well two very happy Cork people anyway, and one recovering Tipperary man , Who would he shout for if Limerick meet Cork later on

Cork are the best team in the country, don’t you know 😁
It never takes long for Corkness to loose the run of itself 😂
Donegal had 3 equally good goal chances in the first half too . No way did Tyrone deserve to go in at half time ahead.
Shane is right. Terrible that likes of donal Burke, Chris crummey won't get all star because dublin don't get to all ireland semis.
Tomas should apologize for his longcovid joke after the tyrone manager had a stroke as a result of the infection
Glad see him back feral but christ not toast fault
