WD40 is not recommended for chains coz it has chemical agents/properties and gets into O rings of chain and damages the rubber inside the O rings and chain starts giving a permanent noise. Then u have to change entire chain and sprocket set. Kerosene or petrol is a good cleaning agent and it vaporizes immediately. For rest of the parts it's ok to use WD40 👍
I only use WD40 on my chains. It’s perfectly safe with the advantage that dirt doesn’t stick to it very well. I get 50 thousand km on my chains without any worries. It does not damage O rings.
@@jaywhoisit4863 the problem is wd40 is drying the chains, cause its an anti rust, so u need to kinda rub more oil to the chain after you put the wd40 or just roll the tyres and let the chain wet them self inside the gearbox :v
The I rings are fine with WD40. I've seen a bike channel soak o rings in a test tube full of WD40 for a month. The o rings were fine with it. It's just a myth that is damages then.
Please don't use it on disc pad WD40 is kind of rust remover and lubricant. I did a mistake in royal Enfield Thunderbird I applied WD40 in order to remove rust but unfortunately it went to disc pads literally no brakes front and back and then it was taken to show room to change pads. Please use sand paper to remove rust for wheel portion please
Only use this on your chain if you want premature wear. It will break down and penetrate the rubber o rings and cause the internal grease to become exposed to the elements leaving you with a shitty chain.
Hello... Can i use for rust in painted parts of bullet 350. Rust in tank cover, rust in air filter cover etc.. Plz give any options to remove rust from these parts ...
Very nice, however never use WD-40 on sparkplugs instead burn them with a weed-burner of something! Why a sparkplug can handle very high temps an rather burn it clean. For the rest, perfect use! however only to clean because it leaves an oilfilm and this will attract dirt, rust etc so i rather use Litium soap based grease for the footpegs, shifter standard etc. Btw another top-tip spray the complete engine with WD-40 let i soap overnight en clean in with an rag end use a stick to clean up the difficult area, then clean the engine and it will be like new.
No please not on a O- or X-ring chain! It will get into the links and mess with the grease inside! WD-40 can not deal with the high forces on a bikes chain! Need to use grease! For your chain use Diesel / Kerosene for cleaning and ideally chain grease. That is cheaper too! I would not use WD-40 on any rubber parts as some rubbers can be damaged by WD-40. Remember it's not just oil it can be aggressive loosening rust! Use it on bolts and mechanic parts that do not need to transfer a lot of force. WD-40 is not viscous enough to lubricate under high pressure!
Other than a degreaser/water displacer, it is a poor choice. For moto & push bikes. 👎 Never use this garbage as a lubricant. Unless you don't care too much about your equipment.
I can smell the WD-40 through the screen
It's carcinogenic. Never smell it
0:15 Maintain that throttle housing by tightening the screw on it before worrying about the switch?
I've found the best success spraying almost everything and just wiping down the whole bike. It's very quick
Wd 40 is flammable guys remember
Nope
6:44 Look at the name its not wd40 its rust cleaner. Thats why the liquid is kind of yellowish color because wd40 is white
Right bro ... lol
One of the best videos on the wd40 uses thanks for taking the time to make this video really helpful
😎👍🇬🇧
Good product but surprisingly you had 16 problems at the same time in your bike. Not surprisingly its RE ;). I own one..
Don't use on bike chain. WD-40 is a penetrant. It will go inside the O/X rings, expose the grease inside the seals and damage the chain.
You can use it to CLEAN the chain before applying actual lube to it.
Ty bro
WD 40 will not damage o rings, but its not a good lubricant
th-cam.com/video/Fzyk4nq3ug0/w-d-xo.html
For low-end chains only.
Thats why its purpose is cleaning and not lubing 😊

dont use it on your brakes holy shit lmao, are you trying to kill this man
Don't use in the long run. It damages the surface.
to clean the chain you just need kerosene cheap and not harmful to o ring
... and it's also recomended on vegetables 😆
Good one
All in one boldo bhai 🤣🤣👍👍🤞
Isn't that bad lubricating the sparkplug???
WD40 is not a lubricator... but a cleaner

Nice sharing idea
Woah wait isn’t this bullet guru video?
One of the most have on hand. Wd40
Is it suitable for removal of front Disk Rust? Or it may harm my front disc?
Please don't use it on disc pad WD40 is kind of rust remover and lubricant. Use white vinegar to remove disc rust
Don't use..
I also did the Same mistake on my classic 350 we should not use WD40 on brake related hardware.
That's pretty cool one 😍😍😍
How frequently this should be used?
1 time per month
Doesn't it affect on electronic parts like switches ?
Key places ??
Its non reactive. But wipe after applying immediately so it doesnt collect dust.
the wd40 said they are non conductor liquid, they even provide special can for electronics purpose. Give it a go
@@vicemafia23 thank youu 😊😊
it is not a lube,,never was meant to be ,no it wont harm switches it is a water displacement

Can we use it as a chain lube?
Nooooooooo, only for clean purposes
No it’s not a lubricant mate
It’s perfectly fine as a light lube. I apply every fuel stop.
Use CRC spray its not flamable

So is it okay to use on chain that doesn't use o ring?
it's safe in o ring
Nice Bike 👍

PB blaster and steel wool
Use metal polish by wavex or autosol they work wonders
How to buy this ?
Hey honey, since you're going to the store can you grab me some hair spray? Heck use some WD40!
Don't.use.on chains too often . Wd40 is repaire liquid and not just lubricant.
your not suppose to use wd-40 for inside of lock cylinders either. this video is just ALL wrong. not sure if this is a troll video or what?
Yeah that's a good call either that or the guy who put the video up is just an idiot
Thank you very very very much .
Apply chain spray after using WD40. It's a cleanser not a lubricant
Not necessary. The chains are internally lubed. The light Wd40 protects the chain from corrosion perfectly fine.
Can I use disc break pad clean
Yeah use the whole can! 🤣
No
05:44 how

Buddy my Spark plug has been stuck in my Jupiter . How to remove it with out breaking
Spark plug wrench mate, most shops/stores do them, they also sell the separate attachments to be able to realise the spark plug with ease
Smell is here

My condolences in advance
Very nice video is really WD40 or an other product sir? 😊😊😊😊
What u r using in this video is not WD-40. Something rust cleaner is written on the can..

Very informative...
Glad you think so!
Spraying WD40 on engine case and exhaust pipe area will lead to white smoke....
what happened after that ? was there any problem?
Yes i am facing the same issue
No
Spray to dhyan she Karo kit na waste ho Raha hai
Unnecessary.
I guess Royal Enfield riders have fear of rusting deeply rooted in them.
It's not wd 40

You are not using WD40

be careful, wd-40 eats metal!
Now i know....

You are using different rust spray and making video in the name of WD-40
Other than a degreaser/water displacer, it is a poor choice. For moto & push bikes. 👎
Never use this garbage as a lubricant. Unless you don't care too much about your equipment.
Wd40,developed by NASA for the space shuttle!👍
Wastage of money. Use kerosene/petrol
After viewing this video I purchased WD40 online, but found useless, even can't remove mustard oil from surface, fake video
WD 40 is expensive
No
You shouldn’t use wd40 for almost any of this shit
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Aiyoh! Waste of time! Bro, kindly upload videos of something new! All these videos are already done by so many! Wastrel!

Try spraying this to the disc brake. Thank me later
wd40 should NEVER be used on disc pads
Half knowledge is dangerous and your comment proves it
No don't #experience

Yes I have tried it
Better off with silicone, its dielectric
