Thanks for the video - And as a former Marine and retired NH State Trooper myself, thank you for all your service! I just bought one of these tooth bars for my JD 2038R 57" wide 220R loader, and hopefully it will dig and scrape the topsoil better than the flat blade which come on the bucket. I think I will also take the suggestions of others and use the "anti-cease" on the Bolts.
I apologize for the late response, we’ve been away from TH-cam for a long time. Thank you for your service as well!! It was so easy to take on and off, I would immediately remove it after that specific job was completed. Hopefully it is working out well for you!!
I apologize for the late response, we’ve been away from TH-cam for a long time. It was so easy to take on and off, I would immediately remove it after that specific job was completed and never had any issues. If it was permanently installed, anti-seize would work perfectly.
Thanks for vid! I sold my 36” wheel horse garden tractor. I only used it 1 time a year on my garden. Do you think that tooth bar on my 1023e will till my garden, and small deer food plot?
I've watched a couple of different videos on tool bars, and I noticed that they seem to be done in places that have dirt, and I'm wondering, is how do they work on a rocky ozark hill top, I got a small JD 2210, and I'm digging up boulders the size of 2-1/2 gal bucket on a regular basis, and that's with a stright cuttingedge, trying to dig out a bunch of saplings, I like the design of the piranha bar it looks like it'll snag on the small stuff and either pull them out or cut them off,
I added a back hoe attachment to my tractor for digging in rocky soil with that size rocks and mini boulders. No compact or subcompact can bust through clay and rock, they just aren't heavy enough with enough hydraulic power to push a 4 or 5 or 6 foot wide bucket into the earth. Maybe try one of those front hoe buckets as seen on the other TH-cam channels. th-cam.com/users/results?search_query=front+hoe+attachment
Now that I know where to get the tool, I am going to order it and put it to use on one of my tractor's and do some cleaning up around our property. Right now I want to level my lawn, but don't want to do it until Autumn when I can pick up top soil from one area and haul it to my lawn and put it down. Since I don't have the equipment to haul the dirt a long way my tractor will be used instead.
Bonnie Adams Thank you, I appreciate it! You can find them at heavyhitch.com/product/toothbar-john-deere-front-end-loader/ They have been a hot commodity lately, just keep an eye out for when he gets them back in stock. I couldn't imagine doing loader work without it.
O cool it dug up less dirt, personally I think you need a bigger tractor for a farm. I have a farmette and a 3720. It grades the driveway, leveled the land, moved rocks and bolders, even plowed out the place with a 40" snow.
Happy Birthday & thankya for your uniformed service. Nice video. I have a JD 1025R FILB w/54" mower deck on order & shoulder be arriving here at the end of the month. Take care & God bless.
I apologize for the late response, we’ve been away from TH-cam for a long time. It was so easy to take on and off, I would immediately remove it after that specific job was completed and never had any issues. Otherwise, he is correct anti-seize would work fine.
I apologize for the late response, we’ve been away from TH-cam for a long time. No, you would never be able to back-drag with this on. It is very easy to take on and off, so I would immediately take it off when that specific job was completed.
kdeckster I have some video of your hooks picking up a massive tree stump, and also dragging the tree that came down. I'll upload it as soon as I can. Thanks again for making great products!!
kdeckster Oh trust me, we got another 5 1/2 inches this week. I don't ever remember a worse spring. We are going to cut it close on some of our garden. We may lose the plants we started in March.

I have this tooth bar. Suggest that you Neverseeze the fasteners to keep them easy to install and remove and to keep them from rusting.

Thanks, noticed the hooks on top of the bucket, where did you get those and what size are they?
Daniel Driscoll Ken’s Bolt-On Hooks, they are worth every penny!

I use a small John Deere tractor like this to clean horse barn , better visibility than a skid steer so your not hitting support beams or stall sides.
Thats awesome! Does it come in orange??🤔🤔🤔
Can you tell me where you purchased the toothbar. Thanks for your service as a state trooper.

Rodney Leonard Thank you! Did you order one with the new 120R loader? I'm interested to see the difference in action.
Good luck getting those bolts loose after some decent digging time. There has to be a better way to secure it to the bucket.
Use anti seize compound on the bolts

Can't back drag with the toothbar on there huh?

What was that Email again. I'm in law enforcement and Marine veteran. Would like this for my tractor
I would love to have an attachment like that to put on one of my tractors and would like to know where you got it.

kdeckster Here it is. I swear, if we could get one day without wind I'd hit the lottery!

I'd take the wind over the rain we have been getting!

you wont do that with a John Deere tooth bar, it weighs 120 lbs
