I am actually thinking that Hobbyking and DW Hobby should give you some donations for such great build videos. Come on Hobbyking, RC Model Geeks are helping you sell planes!!

I'd be happy to sort out the instructions on the DW Hobby kits...It is true that when we started the RQ7 build the kits sold out! ;o)

Yup, they need guys like you sorting their kit instructions out, I certainly could not build one of these with the instructions in the box. Are you promoting your videos on Facebook or Instagram? Maybe you can get some attention from Hobbyking that way hashtagging etc. I think anyone who goes out of their way to review and even take you through the steps of building these complex kits deserves something for it. They are not simple foamies.

You can see these builds were aimed at the original ARF market form when the were assembled by outworkers, complete families putting them together quickly and nowhere near the exacting standards you are working to Rob,the original tooling must have taken time and effort to get those wonderful clip together joints sorted, now they are producing them as very cheap kits like this to get the extra mileage on their investment,it is certainly a strong model and should be a great flyer as well,a friend has just built the Fokker E.III and the kit is just the same as this Cub and goes together really well with laser precision, its an enjoyable build and a good looking aeroplane too.

That fuse looks very solid, kind of surprised for a cheap kit, nice work!

Does the wood glue you brush on the joints make a significant structural difference? Just never seen it before

Who knows. But it doesn't do any harm.

Did you have to make some of the wood wet, so it bends better, or does it bend good enough for every bend in the Build?

Great build mate , everyone loves a nice cub . What is the wing span Rob , reason i ask is that i have some dummy engines off a cub foamie from Hobbyking that i could post to you if they are the correct size . Hobbyking done the yellow cub an the Grasshopper and now they have changed it to the navy cub , have a look and let me now if they are of use to you mate . All the best ......

Probably a little small for your plane mate , that cub was 1400mm ?

I reckon doing these quality builds is your niche. There's a noticeable 'upbeat' in your commentary.
