Hey boss. Im generally a Warhammer lore nerd and saw this video. Ask your questions and I’ll answer them to the best of my ability. This is gonna be a bit of a long comment so I’m sorry in advance lol I’ll be putting more abbreviated and less in-depth answers in this comment, but if you want more specifics you can ask! There are some terms that are useful to know. Astartes is the fancy and official name for Space Marines. A Chapter is a group of space marines. Every chapter has different colors and ways to wage war. A good way to think of them is as different armies for different countries. They all do stuff a little different. “The Warp” is space hell. Best I can put it. The reason that Titus survived the fall at the start is because of plot reasons, but the lore reason is space marine power armor is just chunky. It’s filled with dampeners and space tech to make actually killing the guy wearing the armor difficult. Space marines aren’t regular humans. They started out as humans but have gone through so many surgeries and received so many implants they’re basically another breed. Think of horses. There’s a normal horse you’d find in the wild, then a horse bred specifically to race. The space marine is the specially bred horse. The question about if it’s the armor giving the strength or if he’s strong as hell. The answer is both. Space Marines are strong. Extremely strong. And their armor has so many hydraulic systems that it just enhances their strength even more. It’s not an impossible concept for a space marine to flip over a tank, or throw a car. Titus has those holes all over him because they’re injection ports. When he puts on the armor it connects into all those ports. So when in combat it’s giving him painkillers, blood coagulants, steroids, any combat drug you can think of.
