k²+1 = k+k+6/2. {A.M=a+b/2}
2(k²+1) = 2k+6
2k²+2 = 2k+6
2k² - 2k -4 =0
2(k² -k -2 ) =0
k² - k -2 =0/2
k² - k(2 -1) - 2 =0
k² - 2k + k -2 = 0
k(k -2)+1(k -2)=0
(k+1) (k-1)=0
Either, Or,
k+1=0. k -2=0
k= -1. k= 2
Therefore,the value of k is -1,2
