"With the relocation successfull, Magistrate had the time to reminice on how he/they met those 2 '^'mildly-insane and idiotic'^' (as Magistrate tells) friends, former '^'droppers'^' Commander Riks 'Xena' Brownali and Lichter 'King' Yellowar. Magistrate met Xena when they both were stationed at Battlecruiser 'Avalanch I' during Umojan part of the Guild Wars, with Magistrate at that time being FOB Tactician and Xena being Commander of drop-pod troops. They bonded over the drinking contest and the following grapple-brawl. With further befriending, Magistrate learned from Xena about a few interesting facts and termins, with main being that Xena is a '^'Purple-bloody'^'. '^'Purple-bloody'^' is a common-folk termin with 2 meanings, which came at different time periods. At first, it described a separate group of '^'The Old Families'^' decendants, which would go to colonized worlds to either became influential figures or outright rulers of those planets, as an influence of '^'The Old Families'^'. During the Guild Wars, this termin was used as a label for either down-to-dirt or failed nobility, often those same decendants of '^'The Old Families'^', that were sent to influence colonies. Xena was both and it showed in many ways. Most might assume Xena was in the '^'droppers'^' for high payment they provided, but that wasn't the case. Xena just became disgruntled with nobility's way of life, for day-to-day and political reasons. Because of that, Xena became on of the most exciting at the time on-the-field jobs there is, the drop-pod troops! Although that decision made Xena struggle after the end of the conflict in finding a proper job... but in the end Magistrate helped out with a timely employment. With King it was very different - it was the first (and the last in Guild Wars) time Magistrate expirienced fighting right after '^'tactical'^' Nuke was dropped, with him/them being the chosen field Captain and King being the veteran expert-guide in '^'Nuke-shock&awe'^' warfare. Only because of King's guidence Magistrate avoided getting killed by Kel-Morians that day. After battle, Magistrate and King became life-long friends, with King revealing himself to be a *true* veteran of almost all Confederate tactical nuke charges. After seeing eachother later without the suits and weirdly at the gym, Magistrate noticed some strange features of King - his skin was with the tint of yellow, all of his hair was in variying shades of yellow, and his eye color was bright yellow! After Magistrate asked about it, King told why he became like this - apparently there was an experimental batch of older CMC armors with better radiation protection, and Confederacy paid *very* high cash for test-drivers. King was one of them, as he desperatly needed cash at the time. Testing of those suits yielded 2 results: The first result is, that the armor is indeed can protect from very high radiation, for as long as armor would function; The second result is, that there was a nasty side effect when using the suit in high radiation for extended periodes of time - the armor emmited never seen before type of particles, *inside the suit* , which turned body-parts increasingly yellow and gave minor radiation resist, also possibly nasty secretion of bodily fluids. The afflicted were nick-named '^'Yellowers'^' and bribed to not publish their affliction to the public. There also was an unnoficial side-effect specifically for King, which is excitement and lack of fear for Nuclear stuff. That lined him perfectly for all military tactics involving Nukes, hence why he is an expert and a veteran of most Confederate Nuke operations. When Magistrate and King parted ways, King went to work as a captain of a Confederate gun-barge, that eventially got stationed right above Omerta-city in orbit. Because of that, he personally saw the Quagmire to unfold, in all of it's glory and horror, *especially the Nuking.* That event made King dissollusioned with Confederacy, although not enough to desert. And so he was trying to drown memory of that Quagmire with booze and music, on a distant assignment, occasionally visiting his old friends... until Magistrate called for his help. With reminicing done, Magistrate recieved an interesting report - apparently those 2 given their units call-signs and requested for them to be mentioned by those call-signs in the further reports. Those call-signs are: 'Brown Thorns' for Xena's unit and 'Quagmire-Yellow' for King's unit. Just as Magistrate wanted to talk with them about this *personally* , the call was recieved from Raynor and soon the mission to save Backwater outpost has began. Due to the need to ensure the safety of the relocated, main force of 'Brown Thorns' needed to stay with the colonists, sending only a couple of guys directly to escort Raynor. That did not proved to be a problem, as when militia reached the Backwater outpost, the survivors and outpost itself were given to command to Xena. 'Quagmire-Yellow' offered to go with Raynor as support and permission was granted by Magistrate. During the arrest of Raynor and militia, thankfully both King and Xena were with Magistrate, and thus avoided being arrested. Although both Magistrate and Xena had to forcefully calm down King, as he almost stormed of to his shuttle to attempt to break out all of the arrested militia and Raynor, even if both '^'calmers'^' shared similar sentiment to Confederacy and their recent decisions. Magistrate promised to do everything to peacefull release Raynor by talking to Confederate command and convincing them with their own laws. Xena then offered King to go to town for the '^'cool off'^' his stress. King taken up on offer, as he wanted to talked to Dag Giggum, because he ain't done it in awhile since they befriended eachother during one of King's 'old friend' visits to Magistrate."
