I have had a lot of emails from people who want to buy my work, so I have made 2 puukko's for sale. The blades are spring steel and the handles are made from reindeer antler and elm burl. They both have handsewn sheaths with wooden inserts. I am super pleased with how they turned out.
Hope you like watching the video, and if you have any questions about it feel free to ask away in the comments. Thanks for watching!
if you are interested in buying anything i have made, or something similar, you can contact me via email: zaki.workshop@gmail.com

Hey brother. That was skillful hand work with beautiful results! I forge with mineral coal. Do you make your own charcoal? I use vegetable oil to quench my blades. What do you use? We use most of the same methods of hand work. I really enjoy watching you work. Thank you.

@@zakisworkshop Thanks brother. I wanted to put my hole in the ground to make my forge fire at our new home but the ground stays too wet here. I enjoy the primitive ways for knife making, but I guess I will have to use an above ground forge for now. I am anxious to forge a small Canadian- style leaf shaped blade for my oldest brother and to make another puukko knife. I will still forge outside. Have a blessed day, my brother.
