Right out of the gate, that top cover doesn't just pry off as easily shown. The only way it's coming off is to pry on it so hard you'll crack or break it.
The carriage stopped moving manually while removing the interior screws. It moved a bit with power on and off, enough to get to the other screw. But when all back together the carriage for tools would not move with power or manually. Tried to take it apart to check alignment but couldn't access all interior screws. Any suggestions?

Thank you for the instructions. I'm sad my cricut is practically new and the rubber rollers are worn out. Cricut offered to replace with refurbish one, but my is almost new. I'm afraid to exchange it and later regret it.
Thank you for the guide. This really helped me replace the rollers a few days ago. I used the rubber rollers from Amazon and even bought the little C clips that you can snap onto the shafts next to the rubber pieces. This video isn't very realistic. Removing the top cover piece was a real bear because of the incredibly strong glue. The 7 little screws under the top cover inside the machine were a royal pain to get to as well. There was some sort of clear glue/lubricant on the left side plastic moving parts that was impossible to get off my skin. I ended up covering it with a small clear plastic baggie and wearing gloves so that I didn't get anymore on my hands. I used lithium grease on the copper bearings for the shafts and it runs great. Thanks again for the guide!

@@alanlemus9718 it actually comes out a bit on the right side of the machine. Enough to pull the roller out the front. The following picks up where the video gets cut off: Once you loosen the tension spring on the left side of the machine, you can unthread the left side of the roller bar from the hinge thing it’s attached to. Once it’s loose the roller bar can be pushed out the right side of the machine. You’ll need to fidget with it a bit and it takes a bit of force. There is a slightly narrower section on the right end of the roller bar that lets you push the roller rightward. You can then carefully maneuver the roller bar out the front of the machine.
@@NFGPodcast yes, I was able to get the bar out and managed to replace the grey rubber wheels on my maker. I got the replacement rubber wheels from an ebay. There’s a seller there with the user name snipeish that provides step by step instructions.

it is hold by a washer that you need to pull out manually ,to free the left side is harder as there is a big gear wheel that makes it really hard to t to reach the bar, to move this plastic wheel so you have more space i did file off a plastic part that prevent me of moving the gear a little bit further out , you will not be able to pull it off but with enough clearance now is way easier to access the circlip that holds the bar in place ( do not file off the gear , but the part that prevents it from moving outwards ,just file enough of it to give clearance )) ,also if you still have a hard time pullit off you will have to file off some off the plastic material at the other side that does not allow you to slide the bar ,,, i am not going to lie I had to use almost every precission tool i own to do this job you couls still do it but I think the rachet and the file are a must , use a file and a rachet to remove the screws that hold the inner carrier this are hard to unscrew a small screwdriver will not give you enough leverage , use a mirror to see under and locate this screws there are 7 of them alogn the uopper carriagr

@@karlydepaz it does come out , did you remece the “ circlips” ? they are small clips that are at both ends of the bar , they look like half circles , yo have to push them out , because they slide out … carefully use like two small flat screwdrivers or something similar and push the ends of the circlips carefully,,, now that they came out you will see that the bar gets loose but perhaps there is not clearance to actually dislodge from the case end holes , look closely at both ends of the bar and the holes in the case , probably there is some small plastic area preventing the bar of sliding at the end of the left hole , use a small file and file the material away until you can get the bar loose
@@karlydepaz is to long because at the end of the left hole (where the bar slides into ) there is plastic blocking it so it prevents it from sliding ,l” file this part away” with a small file, look into the hole itself you will notice it
Pero no es tan facil como se ve. Hay que hacer con fuerza porque hay partes que estan bien duras. Con cuidado de no quebrar nada tambien. Tengo problemas en quitar las tornillos de adentro.

This biiiii is tripping no way the bar comes off that easy.
Yeah he left out some info I had to pry it so the frame evened out to make the circle round then I was able to pull the bar out
