We’ve been running errands for almost a week when we diecided it was time to get out of the city and head to the mountains. We encounter a surprise snow while camping at 4500 ft in the Sierra mountains.I show you how I am living out of m Jeep and what my plans are for having a minimalism inspired build for the whole spring and summer.

Relatable moment-I spent all of my savings on a van last month and now I have to hustle to get my savings together again so I can spend it making the van a home lol

Just another tip for space. I took out the back seats of my Tundra. Made huge space available.
Hi! Listen to your instincts about bears. It's also cub season. A lady was just killed in CO while walking her dogs on private property. Get some bells. It concerns me too. Probably great to have your mom on the walks. TALK LOUD on these videos when your outside!
You know even if her mom was with her it would be of no help if they don’t know what to do .... it’s not about being brave .. gotta be prepared... as you know recently 2 folks have been killed .. in Yellowstone a guide for Backcountry Tours was fishing in the backcountry bear killed him

Yeah bear safety is top priority when out here! Glad we are in brown bear country 😅

Make a little simple extension for the front seat so William won't have to always be in a little ball. He can stretch and move around a little and get a better night's sleep

Hmm that’s interesting. Oregon is where I bought my RV. I might need to drive back in the next few months if the DMV ends up taking too long with some paperwork I’m waiting on so I might consider getting wood while there for my ceiling if I do. For showers you can get a small one or two gallon stainless steel bucket to warm by the fire or stove and then pour into a shower bag.

You guys should by a schooler, room enough for the both of you guys , since you guys travel together. That will save you on gas, food. Combining your expenses. You guys love doing the same thing. Mom can do her cooking and daughter can do her craft all in one Setting. That will be nice to see😀
While this is a good idea. There’s no way I’d be able to get to camp in the remote places I plan on or be able to off road. Also we really like having our own space!

Hi just a suggestion try n go to Lowe’s n get a construction gallon bucket for ur toilet n see if that works just buy it that it brings a lid with it. I tried that n it worked for me n I’m in a SUV.. Good luck stay safe n Injoy the journey! ✌🏼❤️🏕

I would recommend building in Oregon. There are a couple makers labs in Eugene. I haven’t searched Portland but I sure there are some there. I was caught in the snow in Mt Shasta. Was surprising because a few days before it was warm T-shirt weather. Lol.
Have y'all heard of a jackery solar portable battery, or a geyser systems the geyser will be very beneficial for showers

Louie, ever been up on the Trinity River in NorCal? Love it up there, tons of BLM land all over Shasta-Trinity national forest area but it gets way hot in the summer! Spent a ton of time goofing off camping, fishing, adventuring there and then moved to Redding for 4 years before moving here to Idaho. Anyway, thought I would mention the Trinity as hwy 299 runs down to the Klamath to Eureka and close to Oregon border. ☮️ Wheelchairjohn in Idaho 😎

Hehe I don’t use shampoo actually. Just a leave in conditioner. Shampoo dries my curls out bad
Oh I see, I tried that for a bit but it just makes my hair looks greasy the next day (I have straight hair), but then normal shampoo also dries my scalp out too much. Is there a brand you use that’s safe for the environment?
