🛗 Going up on the Torremolinos Lift 50 cents

Torremolinos is a hilly resort with the beautiful centre of the town being located on top of a steep hill. The centre of Torremolinos is alive 365 days of the year. Its streets, full of stores and restaurants, are perfect for discovering the way in which tradition and modernity combine in this town perched on the western shore of Malaga Bay.
There are 200 steps to access the town centre from the promenade or sea level. You can also access the town centre by walking up a steep hill, which isn't easy in the hot weather. Alternatively, you can use the lift to get to the town centre to the beach and vice versa.
The municipal lift which is open all year and goes from plaza del Panorama (calle de las Mercedes) to plaza de los Tajillos and costs just 50cents per person. Torremolinos Train Station is also located in the town centre and the lift makes travelling to and from the airport very easy and costs just 1.75 Euros.
