You one funny guy ! Thanks for taking the time to explain different stuff on the harmonica. I've been playing a long time but it's a hard instrument to try to tell somebody how to play cuz you can't see what's going on behind the harmonica and you put it into words very well.

I was watching this video with an open mind (I knew you were a bit scared about how I'd react to it) and I absolutely love how you delivered the information so clearly and quickly, even if the video was a half hour long. You sir have the same teaching power as my own teacher, Todd Parrott. I know you really stepped out of your comfort zone with this one as you're normally a blues teacher, but it feels amazing to step outside every once in a while.
P.S. My last name is pronounced with a long I (as in Rice), not a short I (as in wrist).

I was wondering what training you have how did you get this good
Mostly listening many many hours to old blues Records and pausing , trying stuff, rewinding and repeating. Then years of playing in bands and asking a lot of questions to guitarists, bass players and piano players. I had very little formal instruction from teachers and there was no youtube 😀...

I’ve always felt that becoming really good requires knowing which hole makes which note. Like you, you know where you’re going before going there. You can become more free when you know what you want and where to get it. Jmo. Thanks for all your knowledge.
