I love the first and middle names you’ve chosen for your baby girl. I honestly think if you have the energy to decorate a nursery sooner than later go for it. If you don’t have a Haakaa breast pump, I HIGHLY recommend it (or multiple). That thing is a game changer when it comes to breastfeeding! 🙌🏻

I'm due in January and I found out at my 20 week ultrasound that I had a low-lying placenta too! Had so many ultrasounds to check if it moved and everytime there was no change... I hit 32 weeks had another ultrasound and it finally moved way up! Keep your hopes up! Don't get down on yourself or lose hope if it doesn't move by 28 weeks! It took a while for me:)

Getting close!!!!! I never used the diaper pales they were more of a hastle to me. same with the bath thing I used to bathe with my girls and just use my legs for a prop up. I used to love using the swing, bouncy, and pretty much any other way to put baby down when needed. Swaddle was awesome too we used it all the time. I would love to have a scale too

I am in my 30th year of teaching and I have taught both male and female Britton's. I currently have a female Britton. She goes by Britt. One thing I noticed is that Riley is not a one-syllable name like Rose and Jane. I love how all of your girls' first names could be either gender. I have also taught male and female Riley's so that throws her name out for being just female.

So I registered through Babylist, it was the option I felt best with BUT I did go and walk thru buy buy baby to test all the products I “thought” I wanted and ended up registering for so many other options and so glad I went in to test them all! I highly recommend all to do that!

Such a beautiful name, you have chosen. I does compliment Emerson and Charlie Jane! Word to the wise Sweetie, the best way to heal cracked nipples is with breast milk. Honest....I could not nurse my boys hardly at all but my 3rd and 4th children were champion nursers. Perseverance!

The time is going so fast, Britton (love the name) will be here soon. I’ve noticed that you sit on your legs a lot, in the U.K. when my daughter was carrying her first baby, she was ‘told off’ for doing it as it is bad for circulation in general but more so in pregnancy?!

Which kid sits where in your car? Like, whose car seat is placed where in the van/car?
I had a low lying placenta, it was found early at 10weeks, it never moved up like I had hoped it would. I was high risk so I had ultrasounds almost weekly. They told me my placenta was 2 cm away from my cervix so it shouldn’t have any issue delivering because it wasn’t covering my cervix. Fast forward to me being 30 weeks, mind you I had just a an ultrasound 2 days prior, placenta still in the same place. Well I woke up having the urge to pee, instead I had a gush of blood when I sat on the toilet. My husband rushed me to the ER (baby was perfectly fine) and they put me on a none stress test. They couldn’t see any reason for me bleeding (no blood clots, no placenta abruption) everything on the scan seemed fine but the bleeding continued. I stayed in the hospital for 2 weeks and bled the entire time with still no answers to why I was bleeding. They just assumed it could be cervix change. I ended up going into labor at exactly 32 weeks. I delivered vaginally and began hemorrhaging immediately. They tried for 15 minutes to get my placenta to come out but ended up having to put me under because they were going to have to go in and manually extract it. I woke up in excruciating pain! That’s when they broke the news to me that they nearly lost me in the operating room! I had to get a massive blood transfusion and an emergency total hysterectomy😣 turns out my “low lying placenta” was also placenta accreta! They were never able to detect it even with all my ultrasounds. They said if they would’ve known they would of never allowed me to deliver vaginally. I’m now 2 months pp and still have ptsd over the whole experience. Now not only is he my rainbow 🌈 baby but my miracle baby, my last baby, baby #6. I’m so grateful we’re still here❤️
That's so much to go through! Praise God you made it through! Give yourself grace and time to heal mentally and emotionally. Birth trauma is real and not easy ❤

My husband’s first name is Britton. His mom was British.
Love the name you picked....I had a girl this year and we named her Briley, we loved the name Riley but didn't want to name her after some people we knew with that name. So Briley was a way we still got it with a little twist.

i really enjoyed this video! i am 27 weeks and 3 days pregnant - due february 21, 2022, with my first - a boy! my placenta was also low lying at my 20 week anatomy scan, but has since moved, so hopefully you have the same experience.
Hopefully! Looks like we’re just a few days apart :) I’m due the 23rd. That’s awesome. I’ll find out next week if it has resolved itself 🙌🏻

This ikea crib only fits a few mattresses outside of the ikea brand but my store was out so I just had to pick a random one that fit. The brand is Milliard.
What mattress do you have in Britton’s crib? I’m currently 25 weeks pregnant with our first baby and there’s so many reviews of different mattresses it’s a bit overwhelming.
I went with the Newton baby mattress! Breathable, easy to clean! I’m also 25 weeks!
