Does this apply to the Exceed as well? Or just the Vector?

Hi Claudio, for Exceed as well, but it is anyway easier to rigg as luff tension is less and camber pressure also.

Thanks. The video says to pull the downhaul leaving 8-10cms, then push the cambers onto the mast, then apply rest of the downhaul. However if I do that with my Exceed 7.0, it is too hard to push the cambers onto the mast. So I just pull the downhaul all the way and then push the cambers onto the mast. Is that ok or am I doing something wrong?

I'm really struggling to rig my 2019 GS-R every time. I just can't find the right downhaul tension so I can pop the cambers onto the mast easily. Do you have a tip for this sail?

Hi Marc, maybe try to set downhaul 100% and then pop on the cams. When pushing down the batten, do it firmly to gain more space for rolling on the cam with the other hand.

@@gunsailswindsurfing already found the solution yesterday. Trim the downhaul to approx 10cm from the max, then the cambers are easy to install. Just like in the instruction video!

Why do I need a carbon set? I mean for students it could be a bit expensive, so is an Advantage Mast and Boom also working with a Vector or even with a GS-R?

The boom would still work, but the advantage mast is too weak for a race sail. You'll never get the performance out which the sail could deliver, then better get this mast in combination with a freeride sail.
