@Shannon Lindberg You've been hanging around the wrong type of Capricorn. Either way we are bound to rub some people up the wrong way. In my humble opinion. Star signs aside. If anyone projects instead of acknowledging their own shortcomings then they just aren't good people. Period. I don't know about other Capricorns but I'm the first one to take responsibility for things. That's exactly why I seem to be hard on everyone else around me. My only sibling is a Capricorn, so that may have been why 2 of my childhood best friends were also. They are more grounded for the most part and I don't have much earth in my chart. Most of the Capricorns I know are reliable and responsible people, much more than I am. I apologize for my comment, I was angry with a "crap a corn" when I wrote it. It makes me wonder if anyone has seen if there was any correlation between astrology and the Myers Briggs personality test?

I def come across as a bit blunt at times. I try to temper that, but sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind. Saying that... we are harder on ourselves than on anyone else.

So funny about being born old and getting younger. This is a fascinating insight to me, a Capricorn about to turn 40.
One time, while doing cardio, I thought, “what if I just keep going”? I ended up walking and running non-stop for around 8 hours and did 37 miles. And I wasn’t even in great shape at the time, nor had I done more than 5 or 6 miles prior to that. We have insane amounts of stamina, if we want to do something, but we have to have the genuine desire to do so. And it’s normally not about competition or showing off or gaining approval; we like to compete against ourselves.

I ask because my girlfriend is an Aries. I want us to spend the rest of our lives together but it’s definitely not easy. I feel like I’m constantly making her angry and upset because I’m so difficult to deal with and hard to understand. I almost sabotaged the relationship 2 months ago. She was good enough to give me a second chance and I’m determined to make it work, no matter what. I’m struggling to improve my communication skills and to stop being overly sensitive to criticism. You are learning a lot from all your experiences so you can use that info in the future to be really effective, there is a lot of wisdom achived through experiences with Capricorn, everything you do is about lessons about people and life and how to build within those rules you learn. This is one of the reasons Capricorn is the father energy, others dont understand their motives or intentions, but they have the best interest of the family, and they have to be strong in the face of dought and misunderstandings. Capricorns are the best to see you through a storm or difficult times because they know it will pass.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback, thats why i made the video because of the misunderstandings. Really its a sign of gifts, although they are often disguised to others, at first anyway. Maybe because they are gifts people didnt even know they wanted or needed yet... so i think timing is crucial and giving people time to grow and change, like you wrote other signs dont like to be rushed and dont like new ideas that disrupt their normaility, they all change over time which Capricorns notice and can work with after a bit of trial and error... working with time, and being patient for the right season is something they learn to do well, makes them very wise and strong for others.... they might have to learn to be that for themselves first though sometimes. This was really moving to me. I've never been into astrology, actually just randomly started exploring this topic today, but you're words have me shook. I've never heard someone describe me in such detail. It's like you know me. Most capricorns are tough. They have resilience to any change or bad situations. They look aloof but they play fair. They are very nice if treated well but can be rude if mistreated or disrespected. They think more with their head than their heart.

I think we concentrate on material things because we know how to handle them. We handle work but not people. People cannot stand us. As you said, we are always the scapegoat, we try too hard and are always to blame when things go wrong, so yes material things are a better company at times.
Even the Devil himself took eternal blame for being the only Angel who refused to obey God 'no matter what", and he did that out of pure honesty. We are stupid enough to be brutally honest. This is our "sin".

So glad this video found me. I'm a sun Cappy with a Cancer ♋️ rising. Imagine that. From that aspect alone, makes me one sensitive Cappy for sure. We have the Moon 🌙 in the first house....and the sun in the 7th. That's mother and father. Imagine the pressure! I'm starting to accept my purpose here. Looking at my chart, there's alot of inner work to do that perhaps I didn't accomplish in my past life. I'm fortunate to have both of my parents...in which has grown with me. As you said, Cappys are often misunderstood..my advice is to remain consistent. Especially as an adult. Some will essentially cast it off as "youth" behavior up until they realize your the real freakin deal💯. Yes, James is correct in general. But , one of the things that need to be considered is that we have other signs in our astrological charts that can either weaken or strengthen our Birth sign. We NEED to know all of our signs to know exactly why we are the way we are!!

thanks for your comment, its partly because they have a very serious demena, but they are good at learning skills to improve so they need to force themselves to smile more, and appear relaxed and like they are more fun to conceal their internal concerns and worrys. Capricorn is a father or king energy, they feel immense pressures but have to learn not to share or project that, like a father being a strong role model with his kids hiding the stres and burdens of being an adult...Capricorns can improve by learning to adopt the social traits of popular signs like cancer, gemini or libra.... cancer the opposite sign to capricorn has a fun loving, party all the time vibe, they smile a lot and meet people with a big happy grin and a hug, even their enemies, so people feel special and loved, and they want to party with them.. gemini meet the world with a smile, are perceptive, see the funny side of things and are great at small talk so can conect with people easily and things work out socially well for them, libra are polite and diplomatic, indirect, they are rarely directly rude and always appear to be understanding of other peoples perspectives. Although all of them are a bit two faced for these traits they are received well by others, so being two faced to hide stress and worry to keep up the morale of others can help a lot

I have a family full of Capricorns, multiple 12/25 birthdays in the family. Reading/listening to what I knew is refreshing.
This has interesting insight, although not necessarily helpful with the Capricorns in my life. My family has two, and in both cases, sadly enough, genuine narcissists. Not because they are Capricorns but because of emotional damage early on. I was, ironically, the scapegoat of the proverbial “scapegoats”. But despite such a highly charged earlier exposure I wanted to come to a more balanced understanding of the sign, and not just the highly negatively charged exposure that I had early on in life, so I appreciate this description. Sadly, the way that the ones I know implement being “helpful” is anything but, and is less concerned with eliciting unending gratitude with the least effort and resources possible (which they’d prefer to reserve for themselves) than actually doing anything that genuinely helps the person in question.🥺Still, I am certain that they must be the exception rather than the rule, and always seek to expand my viewpoint, so thanks.
hmmm, i can imagine it sounds hard, there are some tactics you can try....Some scary Caps in history, like Marilyn Manson and Phil Spector ... emotionally detached and superior, selfishly manipulative esp the more power and ego they have..... experiences can influence people to be more of the negative or positive traits of a sign.... also their other astrology, like the ascendant, and moon sign afect peoples energy they give off and how they react, its always more complex than just someones sun sign....but i should have included that they are stubborn and can block things just for the sake of it, make you pay and take the cheapest, quickest, easiest options....and can be quick to use people before doing things themselves......you can block them back... establish boundaries and limits and make them adjust which they will if you stress or resist them enough...... or u can avoid their interfearnce and give them a wide birth ,,,,,,,,another one to try is emotionally blackmailing them back, like to focus on responsibility, or flatery and that they are needed........give them reasosn not to use you.... also bride them, pay the king his tax, this way you can use them instead.... there are often options but it takes some perseverence and emotional manipulation ...you can also make them worried about threats, as security is probably their biggest weakness so they will have to take the safe precautionary option if they are worried something is threatening their security

The sibling Capricorn is an interesting case, as she seemed to see me as her nemesis from birth, and I still have no idea why she saw me as a threat, and sought to undermine any self-esteem on my part at every turn. Her most recent action under the guise of “helping” my mother (who is dealing with Alzheimer’s) and I was nearly unforgivable, although surprisingly I have mostly forgiven as I have managed to rise like a phoenix nevertheless. However, that forgiveness primarily requires her absence, as if present more damage would inevitably occur. Interestingly, she has Capricorn Sun, Moon and Ascendant, so she has a pretty concentrated dose. I now just see a lot of insecurity and emotional pain within her, and I am just grateful that I am in a much better place emotionally and spiritually, even if not financially . . . yet. I now just wish her happiness, although admittedly there’s going to be a large amount of her previous behavior that she is going to have to reckon with before that can happen.
