Brilliant review. I bought the steam nebuliser only to realise it’s not steam it’s cold water Vapour. Sent that back and order this one based on your review.
Great review Nish. Bought one as a result of your informative video. Suffered from throat/neck/voice pain for quite some time, then diagnosed with Muscle Tension Dysphonia (MTD) by an ENT consultant. Advised to steam daily, reduce caffeine and stress. Fingers crossed this is some help. Cheers fella. (I'm your 900th sub!!)
Thanks. Really helpful. I do voiceover and narrator work. This is a gadget that I have been considering and your review is excellent so I'll share as well as subscribing. Many thanks
I’m trying to get a feel for Nish’s niches, lol. They include everything from e-readers to keyboard petals to protein powder. But not men’s sandals with a built-in bottle opener on the bottom sole, or nail polish remover.
Hey Nish You can not compare a steamer to a nebulizer. Nebulizer makes very fine vapors that are used to carry drugs to the LUNGS where as steamer produces a much more dense vapor that targets the nasal passage which is ideally recommended for your regular sinuses. Great content though. I hope you get your 1000 subs soon
Have you tried using tea instead of essential oils? I do tea pot inhalation because I have sinus problems. It helps, but it isn't that effective, so I'm thinking of buying this vaporiser.
Is it good for mucus down the throat and sinus? Thanks.brought one today and for the first use it seems ok!.do you inhale from nose and exhale from mouth?
It may help but I can't be certain! I would play around with both nose/mouth. I would speculate if nasal congestion is the issue then nose-in is the way to go!
I just ordered one. Just so I know what to expect, does the oils compartment have to be filled up to a certain level, or is it OK to just put a few drops in there and the device heats it up?
@@nish_ttp Makes sense, cheers. I've had my Beurer thing for a couple of weeks now. What I've found is, oils are just really, really harsh. If you add water, you get barely a whiff. Then the machine hits a pocket of oil, and bam! Too much... I think if you played around with polypropylene glycol and mixed that with oil, you would get a better result.
Distilled water is water without any minerals in it, thus when it is boiled there is no residue left over. Sterile water is water that has been sterilized i.e treated/heated to a high temperature such that there are no bacteria in there.
The water in the main boiling pot will last for few minutes only and aroma doesn't come much. I found it's not worth the money you pay for it. There is no way you can find the level of water in the pot. You have to open it to find out. Opening the hot cap can burn your hand. Look at the alternatives in the local market and you get much better ones at much cheaper price. Not good if your use is frequent
I would have to disagree and say the water in the pot lasted around 8 minutes, after the steam ends you need to wait a few minutes before opening the chamber (the instructions mention this!)
I bought one it arrived today and am really glad I found this video. Really professional and well done.
Thanks for making the video. Very clear and helpful ♥
Thank you I bought one and struggled to figure out from the instructions how to use and this has helped me soooooooo much :-)
First class video, it’s helped me decide which model steam inhaler I should buy. Thanks very much Nish!
Tremendous video. Thank you so much. It’s very helpful.

This is better than instruction :D Thx

Thankyou for your instruction
Very useful. Amazing demonstration.thanks a lot
Nice video, but I wanted to see a comparision with Wicks Steam Inhalor.
Thank you for that. A great review. I may get one.
Very nice review!👍

There's definitely no niche, almost random at this point!
Aw you're too kind

Good one dude..!! Thanks for the video..!!

I haven't but honestly I would consult medican advice before vaporising anything that isn't pure water and inhaling!
Thanks, couldn't figure out why it wasn't coming on 😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you helped me a lot 🐶
On Amazon, it says this is also a nebuliser. Can it do both?
Yep it uses the steam generated to nebulize the water in the second compartment (both needed),

Is the boiling tank made of plastic ? May be another thumbs down for carcenogenic conscious ?
I'm not sure as they wouldn't have chosen a material that wasn't suitable. I think kettles are sometimes made of plastic too so not sure!
Hearing any plastic is dangerous and im looking for a glass device. Hard to find but i will keeping looking
Can Beurer SI-40 steam inhaler be used with boiling camomile or other herbs, instead of essential oils?
I didn't spot anything about herbs in the instructions, I'm not sure if it would be permissible. Might be best to contact beurer
I just ordered one. Just so I know what to expect, does the oils compartment have to be filled up to a certain level, or is it OK to just put a few drops in there and the device heats it up?
So you would add a few drops of oil to the water in that compartment. Hope this makes sense!

@@GTMarmot The polypropylene glycol is to mix the oil, as a carrier?
How about the plastics? Do we get plastic smell?
Nope, doesn't seem to be any plastic smells. I think when I first got it the latex had a bit of a 'new' latex smell but fine now.
Hi, can I use salbutamol with it?
Sorry I'm not sure!
What’s the difference between sterile and distilled water?
Distilled water is water without any minerals in it, thus when it is boiled there is no residue left over. Sterile water is water that has been sterilized i.e treated/heated to a high temperature such that there are no bacteria in there.
Use full

Which one is better ? Please mention model.
Das ist gut erklärt. Wer kann es auf Deutsch
You look like South Indian actor Mohanlal’s Son.
