The new trend here in the U.S. is for RV owners to buy one or more small plots of land that is theirs and they can park their rig there as they travel around the country. It has become difficult to get reservations at national and state parks these days.
Hey guys. Interesting times ahead for all of us. We are just itching to go on Adventures again. Cheers from George and Jane Motorhome Adventures. 👫🇬🇧🚐
Hi George and Jane, yes we cannot wait either..it was October when we were last away. Enjoy your touring 😊Karina and Jules
Hi Both, What Elddis vans did you look at. We are looking to buy soon, so far its a swift 580 but i'm interested in the 554, just I don't know anything about Elddis, any info is welcome. Thanks
Hi Neil, the 580 and 554 are my favourite layout, with a rear washroom, it gives that feeling of space. The Coachman 575 is worth a look too. If you are considering Elddis and Swift they both offer quite a different feel inside. Consider any available dealer specials too as you can get some good equipment included. I would recommend sitting in both and see which feels right to you. They both offer similar owner satisfaction. Our Elddis reviews are the 868 and Crusader Borealis so not much use to you. Look at securing a motormover in the deal if you can. I hope you find the right one for you! 😊 Karina
I am a little sad, as you know I love having a lady who knows what she's talking about with a caravan and tows like I have to. Enjoy your new adventures. Xx
Thank you...hopefully I will still have the opportunity to tow. I hope to encourage ladies to start driving a Motorhome too and maybe offer a different option for single ladies. Take care and stay safe, Karina 😊
Good to see Jules with a speaking part. 👍🏻 Congratulations on getting a Motorhome we look forward to seeing plenty of new content.
😂 Thanks Iain....
You've made the final decision Karina and I'm sure Jules will enjoy driving it. I would have chosen the automatic also. Did you go for the 160hp engine and the option packs? Best Regards. Rob
Thanks Rob, Jules really enjoys the Motorhome driving so this will be great for sharing it out. We have gone 160hp but only because that was the only DL build slot available. That pushed our budget beyond what we had to spend but the 160 should be good for touring. 😊 Thanks for watching, Karina
Hi, congratulations on your purchase bet you can't wait, we did similar to you after caravaning for ever. We also got a 7.4metre motorhome and love the ease of setting up and leaving sites. It's a great life change. Great choice of motorhome and wish you both the very best travels when you finally become owners.
Thank you Phil...we are really looking forward to it arriving and getting back out there. Im glad you have enjoyed your move to a MH 😊 Karina
Hey Hey!! Great to see Jules back in the films. Nice to see some snippets of your new motorhome too, looks awesome! 😀
Thanks Guys...hopefully see you on the road in 2021 😊
Ah brilliant news, i'm excited for you, we had our new 7m MH in July and love it (going to north wales next Friday being in wales) loving your videos keep up the good work, great to see you both so excited woooohooooo xx
Thank you 🎉😊 We cannot wait...enjoy your trip away!! Karina
You will love it, we went from a VW Campervan to a 7 meter motorhome and don't regret anything, best purchase we made and love the adventures we have made in it. Hope you enjoy your choice
Thank you both...yours is lovely too, hopefully we can all get out and enjoy them next year. Karina 😊
@@HereWeTow fingers crossed 🤞
Re watched the vid again this am. Just a thought for you......Our last moho was over 7 metres. What we did in supermarket car parks in UK & EU was to park as far away from the entrances. This was out of respect for car owners. We took up 2 bays
though never had any issues with with other people complaining because of our “distancing”. Plus it was nice to have lunch in these places and people watch!
Never an issue in France,Netherlands and Spain.
Thanks Graeme, that is what we will do, it’s about being considerate isn’t it. We loved touring in Europe, we could even park our caravan at supermarkets there. 😊 Karina
If you get itchy feet and need to get out, there's a 5 man tunnel tent in our loft here that you're welcome to borrow 😂 Cheers for this one guys and look forward to see how you're getting on with your new journey 👍 Mart & Jo
Thanks Mart and Jo...I think a tent may be on the cards until May 😂 I hope you’re all okay 😊 Karina
Hi Karina & Jules,
A man like myself Jules, I just agree with my wife as well. Happy Wife, Happy Life.
Thanks for sharing. 👍👍
😂 Jules is great bless him, I am very lucky that he does trust my judgement on most decisions. We are really excited 😊 Thanks for watching, stay safe, Karina
Can you go to the same places with a touring caravan as a motor home? Ie are there restrictions on some sites
We found it easier in the Motorhome than our 8ft wide caravan. With a caravan you have to consider access a bit more and you generally cannot do pubstops like you can in a Motorhome. Some sites have restrictions on length and smaller pitches. 😊 Karina
Congratulations, something to look forward to on these horrible winter nights. We bought our Altea from Cara a few months back. I think you summed it up, if you want to stay somewhere for a week, a caravan is probably the best option. But for “flitting” about, a day or two here and then move on the Motorhome is the way to go. Nice to see you in my neck of the woods and the next time you’re over, don’t forget to take some oatcakes back with you. Lovely with a bit of Bacon and Cheese!
Thank you, I hope you’re enjoying your Altea. Funnily enough when we were there they mentioned oatcakes..I need to find out what these are! Take care and stay safe 😊 Karina
Congratulations on your new purchases. Wishing you lots of happy miles and memories in your new adventure. Can’t wait to see you updates.
Thanks Rob...take care 😊 Karina
We have been looking to buy our first motorhome. Like you, we loved the 6 metre size for ease of parking, and the large lounge area provided by drop down bed. However, we decided against it due to ladder access to bed. We have ordered a new Bürstner TD 690G, which hopefully arrives in April.
I look forward to your future content to see how your experience compares to our own. Hopefully, we have both made the correct decision!
Great choice on the Burstner, I liked their Travelvan 😊 Enjoy your Motorhome when it arrives...exciting times for both of us 👍 Karina
Have the most amazing times my darlings! You can borrow my van until yours come! That would make a great vlog! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
😂😂 Thanks Peter...I have my eye on a tent from Argos 😉 Take care 😊 Karina
Enjoyed our motorhome great for longer road trips, went to the western Isles of scotland and toured around and many other trips. Now we have children it is easier in a caravan, shopping and some tourist sites were becoming more of a problem as car parks put up height barriers which were to low for our coach built van. When the kids have left home we will get a smaller camper van and continue our explorations, great fun whichever you buy.
Thanks for watching Roger, it certainly is a case of making the right choice for your lifestyle at the time. We are looking forward to touring next year and hopefully getting to Europe again. I hope you and you’re family are safe and well 😊 Karina
We’ve had both several times.........last motorhome was a Le Voyaguer.........currently got a brilliant Camino 554 caravan.
I want a motorhome.....the boss is still undecided......my personal choice is either a Adria Supreme DL or the Hymer Exsis T 588.
Thanks Graeme, I had looked at the Hymer too and also the Hobby V65GF and GE. The Hobby was manual only and we wanted automatic. I hope you can persuade Mrs Graeme 😊 Karina
@@HereWeTow
I’ve looked at so many Moho’s .......If I could I’d have another Le Voyaguer.......alas I’m long retired and cannot afford one.
However the main choice is still the two......Adria or Hymer. Also got to be auto. Dodgy knee.....cannot change gears.
Yes, you were certainly spoilt with the Le Voyaguer 😊
Great review... We are looking at retiring this year and are really interested in the Adria motorhomes with a view of maybe looking at the Matrix Supreme 670 DC which looks amazing but due to lockdown haven't had an opportunity to visit any dealersnor shows yet.
Is 6 months or so an average time from ordering a new motorhome
Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy your retirement when it arrives. The Coral and Matrix are both excellent Motorhomes, the difference in the Coral doesn’t have a drop down bed at the front which the Matrix does. This gives the Matrix more berths. Six to nine months is fairly standard to wait for a European Motorhome. Dealers are already taking orders for 2022 models and supply will be limited due to a shortage of Fiat chassis. If you need any further advice just drop us an email at herewetow@yahoo.com. All the best, Karina and Jules
We are caravanners for 31 years. We have been contemplating a motorhomes. Like you we visited Cara Adria road show. In our sites we looked at a compact and a coral. Although very nice, we are so unsure about making the change. Can you tell us the pro’s and cons of making the switch.
It really is a personal decision but what we liked was having the Motorhome on the drive and being able to put a few bits in the fridge and some water in the tank and just drive away. We arrived on site and were set up in a minute, it was so easy. We were still able to visit places, we just planned where to park. It was easy to drive off as we kept everything tidy. The MH is great for having a few nights in one place then carrying on to somewhere else. We like the DL as it’s not as long as the Coral and it’s not as wide, which is good for the narrow roads around here. If you’re not sure you could hire a Motorhome for a week to see how you find it. We loved our caravan and toured all over but we enjoyed staying on a site for a week or two so it suited us. I think you will know when you’re ready for a change, it will feel right. 😊 Karina
Hi just sold my 2015 Lunar Lexon Ultima 640
Decided to buy motorhome but the prices have gone through the roof due to Corona virus
And the high increase in caravan and motor home sales Iam now putting this on hold.
As once people start going abroad again there will be a gluten of caravans and motorhomes up for sale. When things reopen again there be manic on the roads to get to sites.
There will be so many on the road with zero towing experience?. What do you think.
Morning Alan, Motorhome prices are unlikely to come down for some years as demand for them is increasing each year. This is partially due to people not having BE on their licence to tow a larger caravan, people struggling to find storage space and some using a small Motorhome or van conversion as a main vehicle. I have heard that some manufacturers have already closed their 2022 order books for Motorhomes as they are full based on allocation. It will certainly be interesting to see what happens in the next few years. In April there will be plenty of people taking to the roads with no towing experience and worryingly, overladen caravans. I hope people stay safe but there will be accidents I am sure. Enjoy your touring this year and all the best when you do come to change your caravan. 😊Karina and Jules
Congratulations Jules and Karina you must be very excited?😀 We will look out for your upcoming vlogs as mentioned! Take care and keep safe. Best wishes Sue, Brian and The Westies👍🐶🐾😀
Thank you Sue and Brian, I hope you are both safe and well 😊🐾
Well not a surprise really. Good to hear you Jules. Jules will you still be able to drive the new MH weight wise? Look forward to forward to new adventure need to change youname though... 6 months wait.. we eventually ordered a new phoenix 640 caravan got to wait until march😟😟
Thanks Victor, yes the MH is 3.5t so Jules will be behind the wheel of this one. It will be good to share the driving now. Great news on your new Phoenix and March will be a good time to hopefully start the new touring season. It has been a hard year so we all have something to look forward to now. 😊 Take care and stay safe, Karina
Great news I know you will enjoy it I have just updated to a swift kontiki sport 8.11m long and it’s not really that much more lol
Wow that’s a big one! 😮👍 Thank you for watching, stay safe and take care, Karina 😊
My favourite channel for caravans and motorhomes. I will be buying a caravan soon.
Still makes me cringe hearing that lockdown word. To think we actually did it makes me angry today.
Anyways ty for all the great advice ❤💯🙏
Thank you for watching and yes, it all seems to ridiculous now..some of the things we all had to do. Enjoy your weekend 😊
We love our motorhome, go anywhere, within reason. Congratulations, I think you’ll love it. We have a drive away awning which is great, just leave it behind when you want to venture around and hook up when you return. 😎
Thank you Julian, yes the Vango Hexaway is a popular driveaway and there is plenty of choice out there. We are looking forward to some new adventures and I am sure we will love it 😊 Take care, Karina
Woo-hoo! Congratulations guys! Here we go, Here We Moho! Incredible that dealers aren’t queuing up to offer you their vehicles to review in exchange for a plug. Good on Salop and Cara Motorhomes though. 👍
Thank you Andrew, we are very excited! Hopefully see you in Dusseldorf in it next year 😊👍🐾 Karina
Hi Karina And Julian, great Moho, but no room for getting changed/Glammed up? Bathroom don't look big enough But congrats on your choice horses for courses etc Take Care the both of you. See u on the next one👍
Thanks Mark, to move to a Motorhome you have to have a whole change of mindset I think, and that includes around space. Jules says he isn’t bothered about getting glammed up these days 😉😂 It’s going to be a new adventure and I hope we are all back out again safely next year. I hope you’re feeling better today too 😊 Take care and stay safe, Karina
Well done, v.excited for you, congratulations. We bought a s/h 6m motorhome this year and couldn't agree more with your comments. Last minute decisions for a weekend away are easy with very little planning required. Love it 🙂
Thanks Peter and I am glad you are enjoying your Motorhome. 😊👍 Karina
Welcome to “Here we Moho” hope to see you on the road next summer. Sue said you could be “Here we Two” 😉😃👍🏻 Trev n Sue
Thank you Sue and Trev...😂👍 I hope you’re both okay, Karina 😊
🚐🤩🎉🥳 Super excited for you both!!! Absolutely fantastic news and how spooky you had “a feeling” about the one you reviewed!
Perhaps we get a meet up at some point. 👏🏻😃 Will you be taking your e bikes with you on your trips?
May shall be here soon enough!!! Great stuff 😃😃Michelle and Andy
Thanks guys 👍 The garage is huge so the bikes will go in there...hopefully we can meet up with a few people next summer, it would be nice to have a catch up. 😊 Take care and stay safe...Karina
As a caravanner sorry to see you cross to the other side 😄😄😉 but having said that it makes sense as now you can share the driving. No more chilling out Jules probably playing on your phone whilst Katrina is at the wheel. Happy for you both and no doubt even though you will be urging May to come asap i bet you will be planning your route and sites out in advance and making your bookings. Please leave some sites for us 😉😉
Thank you 😊 Hopefully we can still keep our hand in with some towing and caravan content. The MH does work well for us and we cannot wait to get back out on sites very soon. I hope you are both staying safe and well 😊
Fantastic blog. You’re excitement is infectious. I was beaming from ear to ear for you guys and your new purchase. 👍
Thank you Dan 😊👍
Hi Guy’s, I’m MotorhomeMan, I think I have the same dilemma as you but in reverse! I have had a Motorhome for 4 years but have now bought a caravan ( Coachman Laser 575 Excel) .
What are you going to do with the name of your TH-cam channel, are you going to change it or keep it?
I’m contemplating changing my name, but not sure what to do, I would be interested in your view!
Hi MotorHomeMan...I hope you enjoy your transition to a caravan. It is all about what suits you at the time and how you plan to tour. 😊 It will be a new adventure for us both. The name change is something we are considering, but we will still be doing caravan content and we are established with that name. Any change we do make will be quite subtle. It is easy to change your channel name it is just the added bits like social media and website (if you have one). All the best for 2021😊 Karina
Lovely to see you both on film. Very excited for you, can’t wait for you to get back out there 😘
Thanks Ann..we look forward to having you round for a brew in our new DL 😊
I have a 6m motorhome that suits me just fine. Good luck for next May x
Thank you Gill, we found the 6 metre Matrix such a practical size for getting about. Thanks for watching 😊 Karina
The adventure continues! The Adria Supreme DL is a very smart choice, and loving your vehicle is key to enjoying motor homing. And the auto is a must. Really looking forward to seeing your future adventures.
Thank you Mark 😊
As long as it works and your happy and keep doing your inspiring reviews.👍👍
Thank you Bernard, I hope you are keeping well 😊 Karina
Brilliant, congratulations. I'm sure Jules will come around to the idea... Eventually....Looks lovely BTW Graham
Thank you Graham, Jules is looking forward to it really...its just the shock of spending money 😂 Take care and stay safe, Karina
The only detraction for me would be the fiat drive train.
Fiat have not nailed cruise control. Ford and Peugeot have. That said the fiat automatic transmission is good I like that.
Thanks David 😊
Hi guys, hope your both well, congrats on the motorhome, nice one. Julie and I are contemplating the motorhome route, but don't know what's happening as my mother is really I'll, and Sunday our beloved caravan was stolen from our seasonal pitch by the scum of the earth. Heartbreaking 😭.
All the best,
Black Country Dave.
Im sorry to hear your Mum is unwell, that must be very hard for you 😔 I am also sorry to hear your caravan has been stolen. It never rains but it pours! Hopefully things will improve for you both...it has been a difficult year. We have our new motorhome to look forward to at least. Take care and stay safe! Karina
Very exciting for you. We're new to Motorhome journeys and like you learning. We have a Swift Ducato 600s 2003 Lifestyle only got it in June this year and we absolutely love it. Look forward to following your holidays. Take care keep safe- Wendy and Rog.
Thank you Wendy and Rog, we are very excited and counting down 😊 Karina
We are caravaners and it is horses for courses! Depends what you want it for....one day it will be a motorhome for us! But not yet!
Thank you Stuart, it absolutely is a timing thing. Last year we wouldn’t have considered a Motorhome but a change in circumstances and a change of leisure vehicle. I hope our experience is helpful for other people too. Stay safe, Karina 😊
Six month wait though.....
Hopefully we will all be out and about in the spring. Definitely a new van next year.
Yes, a long wait, same as when we ordered our Isonzo, but I am sure it will be worth it. I hope we are all able to enjoy our travels next spring 😊 Stay safe and take care, Karina
how did you finance it?
We bought it out of the money my Mum left me when she died
Massive congratulations guys! We are chuffed for you. What a stunning motorhome! The important thing is you’ve found that it works for you, it’s fantastic you got to try it for the amount of time you did, so it gave you a really good insight and showed all the pros and cons! Nice one guys 👏
Thank you, and having gone through a similar choice you will appreciate the pros and cons we had to balance. I hope you’re both okay and hopefully you will be enjoying your new caravan soon 😊👍 Karina
Thanks guys. Keep safe and have a lovely christmas. Great content as usual. All the best for 2021
Thank you Jamie...stay safe and you have a lovely Christmas too 😊
Yay well done Karina & Jules. How very exciting can’t wait to follow on your MoHo journey
Thank you Mrs B...we are so excited! Stay safe, Karina 😊
Hello and welcome back to here we Moho! The motorhomes is going to be great. 7 metres long I don't think you will find a challenge if you are used to towing the izonso around, especially if you get parking sensors and/or a reversing camera. If that's not in the budget, because motorhomes are really expensive, you could tie a few of those toy chickens to the back that make a noise when you squeeze them.
Keep up the great work you two make me laugh!
Thanks Dean...Im sure Fudge will love the toy chicken noise 😂 Yes, we have a rear view camera so hopefully there will be no backwards bumps. Thanks for watching our channel, it is appreciated, stay safe 😊 Karina
Super news!!! I’m delighted for you both 👍
Thanks Sam 😊
Brilliant video guys, we’re exactly at the same place, on hold at the mo cos you can’t get a used Motorhome for love nor money. Really pleased for you, looking forward to seeing your new adventures.
Thank you Graham, hopefully more vehicles will become available as people start to collect their new 2021 models and part exchange their current model. 😊 Karina
An 'executive decision' has indeed been made.
Unilateral and downright autocratic. Just teasing of course.
Love the resigned humor!
'She who must be obeyed' is the great quote by the late Leo McKern as Rumpole of the Bailey in 1975.
You can order a sweatshirt with the quote.
😂😂 Thank you for watching… Karina
Good luck to you both on your chosen path, it’s good to try various things, especially while you still can and, if necessary, have time to change again after giving the current thing a fair crack... ✅
Look forward to watching your new adventures as they unfold and seeing your new mode of getting away come the Summer of 2021... 👍🏻
Stay safe and be well both... 😉 🐍
Thanks Rog, I hope you are okay and staying safe and well. We are looking forward to it and hoping a few of us can meet up next summer too. 😊 Karina

So you crossed over to the dark side and now you’re staying there! Only joking. Am very happy for you both. Does this mean a new name for the channel? ‘Here We Drive’ perhaps?

@@HereWeTow yes all good here 👍😃 ta
Congratulations on your house move and where have you moved to and congratulations on purchasing the new motor home as well and hope you are both staying safe and well and another brilliant video as always
Thank you Ben, we moved to Somerset from Yorkshire 11 months ago and it was a great decision. The MH will work well for us down here. I hope you stay safe and well, thanks for watching, Karina 😊
You said the 6m MH was bigger than your Adria inside how was that it certainly doesn’t look like it, and then you chose a 6.99 MH. Maybe the 6m wasn’t big enough, that’s all we fit on our drive, it tempted me but not now. Cant persuade my Wife into a MH she doesn’t fancy the Car park camping idea.
Just wondering if you could explain about how it was bigger that a huge Adria with obviously more storage and facilities etc, we are trying to decide on whether to restart towing or go to a MH or stick with our static
Morning Douglas, I don’t recall saying it was bigger inside, I did say we didn’t miss the space and the lounge area gave us more space with the Captains chairs and the great fixed table. The kitchen was also better laid out with more worktop space. The 6 metre was excellent but it did not have a fixed bed. Personally I want a fixed bed as opposed to a drop down. There are 6 metre motorhomes with a fixed bed buy the compromise is living area space and some have no ovens. It is totally a personal choice. We decided we would rather go longer and not compromise on living space and the fixed bed. An example is the Compact Supreme SP, this would have been a contender but no oven. It really is about finding what works best for you. The 520 ST was a little tardis but long term it didn’t meet our needs. I hope that helps, Karina 😊
@@HereWeTow my apologies. I meant the lounge area not the whole van. It’s such a hard decision

That’s good to hear!
Are you going to keep your car?
We think that will have to go to afford the Motorhome but we have a little while to make a decision 😊
Forgot to ask 77k for the Adria on your left is is worth 20k more than yours that's some price tag. Ouch.
That is a top spec Coral Supreme Mark, Motorhomes sure are expensive but they hold their value very well, much more so than a car. That one is well out of our budget 😊 Karina
