    nice, better and easier to watch due to fewer jumps in the edits and the subject is relevant to food photographers. Keep up the good work....

    Awesome video! ♡ I was wondering, what did you use to hold or clamp your foam diy gobo? Definitely would be useful to know.

    Hi Lauren!
    I met your channel this week and I'm really enjoying your videos.
    You create really interesting and important content for those who are starting and also for those who are already a photographer.
    Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and receive a hug from Brazil 😉

    Your stuff is great! I bet your channel will really take off soon ❤️
    I have a super selfish request: best speedlights on a budget! I want to recreate some of those falling droplet effects but I don't have a speedlight to do that yet and I'm not sure which to choose for a Sony! If that's up your alley I'll be waiting (Im)patiently for it 😂

    • @LaurenCarisShort
      @LaurenCarisShort  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question! I would look into Yongnuo speedlights for something low budget that will do the trick. Just make sure you get a sony trigger :)

    Are you using additional bar with your tripod? Horizontal bar looks little bit different than Manfrotto's default bar.. Is it a steel bar?

    Hi I would also like to know the name of that tripod/holder that you use to clip the foam bord and create the effect🙏🏻

    What about those composition overlays? Do you have to import your own image for composition scheme, or capture one got its own to choose from? Thank you!

    • @LaurenCarisShort
      @LaurenCarisShort  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Capture one has the rule of thirds, the Phi grid and the golden spiral, for the others I just created PNG's and use them! I have them available as downloads inside Food Photography Academy!

    I always wondered, how can we create one with a flash not a speed light..., I guess it's the exact same right?, But more of a trial and error

    • @LaurenCarisShort
      @LaurenCarisShort  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep exactly the same! If your flash has a modelling light that will help with placement before hand, otherwise just more test shots!

    • @emudojo
      @emudojo 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LaurenCarisShort it's the simplest godox, so no modeling light, i was looking around and also called scattered flash... I need to find inspiration again lol

    • @LaurenCarisShort
      @LaurenCarisShort  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@emudojo Just lots of test shots then! You'll soon get the hang of it and it is a fun process!
