I know right now, it looks like the next gen car in the Cup Series, has not changed short track racing for the better, but after this race today, I still believe firmly in my heart, that short tracks still put on one whale of a show in Xfinity and Trucks. Today's race was proof of that for me. If an Xfinity race at Martinsville is this crazy exciting, imagine how insane it would be, if North Wilkesboro got added to the Xfinity schedule. I'm glad the Craftsman Truck Series is getting their fall Martinsville race back next year. Martinsville is the perfect place to determine the Championship 4 for all three Series. I am glad we will be getting that again next year. I feel like Austin Hill had today's race won, if that first big wreck didn't happen, and we play it out without an overtime. Teammates racing for a Championship 4 berth and not giving an inch. I'm satisfied with the Championship 4 for the Xfinity Series. Glad Allgaier won. Super excited for tomorrow.
With the modern mindset, I don't agree with you. I DO understand why, but it's their own fault. All of the top team sucking up decent sponsor money puts too much pressure to perform for those sponsors, and pay the inflated expenses they caused. Lesser teams who you still need to have "a race" can only hope to survive with as little expense as possible. It opens the door for a lack of respect among drivers, the young know-it-alls who never turned a wrench in their lives vs. those who worked full time jobs to race on the weekends to buy mediocre equipment to make that next step, just to get run over. Racing is racing . . . Wrecking yourself and/or others early in a race is a risky shortcut to the front that may or may not pay off. You put out a good side-by-side "RUBBIN' is racin' " attitude, you will get your camera time AND the attention of owners. Wrecking may be "entertaining", but when you as in the car it's agony. Especially if it's because of someone who doesn't respect your right to be on the track.
Creed already announced that he's out of that ride, and I don't think him and Hill were that close of friends or anything even before that, so yeah it was an easy decision on Sheldon's part to go for it. You race to win, period. I will always defend that mentality over some team orders, play nice BS.
I truly loved the race, now this what racing is supposed to be, they didn't wreak each other they leaned on each other to the end and the better driver won, that was a absolutely awesome finish 👏 😊
@@quackers584 I mean Allgaier only got through because the leaders were fighting heavily. If you need the leaders to take each other for you to win then yes, you got lucky
@@aidanw9378 are you stupid? Allgaier had the fastest car all race and it wasn't even close. Also I think both Creed and Hill are a-holes and I think there is some serious toxicity at RCR.
I don't blame creed at all he didn't wreck him he MOVED him and if Austin just kept his cool and not door slam the 2 getting in 3 at worse he finishes second or third and possibly made the final 4
When it comes to fighting for a championship. There is no teammates sorry RCR Creed was doing what he had to to win and your golden boy hill lost. Last lap last turn win and your in any driver would do the same
As a JR motorsports fan I'm happy to see two of his cars make the championship 4, but I gotta say Sheldon creed running his teammate over like that and cooking it into the corner was a bone headed move
@@brandonstebenne524 I don't think it would have mattered unless a one-two finish would have gotten both in. If only one could get in, and if it had to be by a win . . .
Missed an awful lot of the crashes - no replays of that disgusting driving going on on the final lap leading to that dumb pileup either. Pretty poor highlights package.
im old man but i jumped up and down for allgier to win cuz hes always reminds me of kurt cup owners are idiots for not nabbing this kid again no w that hes ex perienced
Weird how sometimes your car has to be mobile still to get back to inspection, other times it doesn't. And what a joke of a finish as always, let's just wreck over the half the field. 😂😂
The sound of the 27 hitting the wall at the finish is crazy man
That sounds like it hurt for sure.
As he spun, he kept his foot in the gas, hoping that he would bounce off the wall and cross the finish. 😬 That was a hard hit.
@@UNHchaboand i dont believe that wall cas a crash barrier either its just a flat wall made of concrete
@@scottyslattery3090It has a SAFER barrier. You can see it at 9:46
That is the sound of the safer barrier padding absorbing the side of the 27 and rebounding.
Words can’t describe how awesome that race was. This is why I love Xfinity, because of races like this
Still trying to figure out what happened there on that last lap. Reminds of Bristol a few years back where they were wrecking to the checkers. Amazing
That's the hardest inside wall hit I've seen at Martinsville.
This in my opinion was the best race in 2023 (across all 3 series’)
Glad Allgaier gets the win today and joins Mayer in the Championship 4 for JR Motorsports
Was not expecting that last lap!
Great hard racing, Martinsville never dissappoints
Seems like Allgaier always wins photo finishes!! He beat Creed BOTH times!! That's awesome!!
that 27 hit that inside vary hard at the end. is he ok?
That was one helluva whump!
Great race, old school nascar, better than nextgen, allgaier insane!
I would sooner watch Xfinity than Cup. It’s way more exciting.
Waaaaay better than Cup!!
The Xfinity Series is SO much better than the Cup Series. Fantastic racing, plus ACTUAL race cars with FIVE lug nuts and bendable bodies!
This is why the Xfinity Series is better than the Cup Series. This series puts on better racing.
13+ cautions is better racing?
@@FL3MSH4DYits more entertaining like the good ole days of nascar. Very few drivers in the Cup Series race as hard as these boys did on this track
@@TH-camCommenterOL that's just not true
Shame that crowd isn't sold out. That was awesome
Glad to see that #7 car win. He had me worried there for a bit!
Wow the pure emotion after the win was priceless.
Helluva finish!
Shooot man.
My heart is broken for creed. Been a fan since that Darlington finish last year
That has to be the craziest ending to a race I've ever seen. This is why NASCAR is amazing!
Great race even better finish

Well, at least Hill got what he deserved, but sucks for Sheldon Creed and RCR in general. Absolutely amazing win for Allgaier!
The bully got pushed around and busted his radiator 😂
Awesome Race!
What. A. Finish. 🔥
I love what creed did! He went for the win just like old school NASCAR! There ain't no teammates in racing?

why are the stands empty?
They only used the front stretch stands for this race

13 cautions . . . ? Those are pretty heavy leans.
Rick allens best call of the race 🔥
That's not hard considering he can't remember names, and only can repeat what the "experts" say going to commercials.
Nice job Allgaier and JRM that last lap got me pumped !!
That last lap wreck belongs in a movie.
How’s the 11 go to the rear and then start on pole for the next stage? I do not understand stage racing!
Wow. Brutal for creed. He definitely deserved it. Allgaier got a huge break.
I wouldn’t say he deserved it any more than Allgaier did lol

Hard hit for the 27 at the end
Don’t even have to know what’s going on in cup. Once again xfinity series is the best series of the weekend. Better than cup every weekend!
Is there video of Cole Custer backing across the finish line on fire?
stay calm there Ricky Bobby

Best track, best cars. NASCAR take note.
Jeb Burton took a massive hit right there. Sheesh
Cold Custard - especially on top black pudding cake - is my favourite.
Short tracks are about the driver, long tracks are about equipment and strategy
Am I the only one who noticed just how hard the 27 slapped the wall at the finish?
Wrong title?
Went to this race one of my favorites I've been two
As a JR motorsports fan I'm happy to see two of his cars make the championship 4, but I gotta say Sheldon creed running his teammate over like that and cooking it into the corner was a bone headed move
Creed went for the win. Hill initiated the contact that caused him to spin.
LMAO that's a casual take. Creed needed the win ya dunce. If he wins you're talking about how it outdid Chastain's wallride last year
I bet old pop Childress isn’t too pleased haha!
It's RCR's fault, had he not fired Creed already this race would've ended much differently

The name of the race is actually called the Dead On Tools 250
Is this the final race before phoneix?
Yes
Great race great job
Last lap and its...ads. FFS. Guess I'll never know who won it which is a shame as it looked like it was gonna be an awesome run to the flag. Oh well.

Looks like Ty coached Creed on how to race teammates.

Short track racing is where the excitement is! Nascar would do well to get rid of all mile and a half tracks and go one mile or under for most races!
What a good race.. did anyone else think it was weird the 2 had fluid coming out of his car last week?
im old man but i jumped up and down for allgier to win cuz hes always reminds me of kurt cup owners are idiots for not nabbing this kid again no w that hes ex perienced
Look ma I made it to the final 4. Hill "if I only had a brain" even the scarecrow knew better.
what a fkn finish
Wait I saw where Austin Hill won … I’m confused and Creed was second… penalizes? Or am I’m just an old …
Great Finish, Richard getting made at Sheldon is just dumb.
10:59 I want that 🍌 wondering who's pit sign that is.. happy banana

Let's go Justin!!!

El final de película 🚬
Now that’s chaos
me when nbc labels the race name wrong: ☠️🤣
Man I think Richard is thinking I'm glad I signed Kyle
Just like watching ads in tv..
Both RCR drivers couldve made the final 4. But Austin had to get salty with his teammate and ended up punting both their seasons
Yupp. 1000% on Hill
Contender boats 250?
penske should replace cindric for allgier
Allgaier qui gagne en Xfinty wow. Mais si c'est un bon pilote il serait pas redescendu de la Sprint

Lovelin: laps to go Mametchi.
Mametchi: No Um.
Rotom dex: YEAH! BABY! WE GOING TO PHOENIX! WOOO!
Comparatively speaking, not many paying spectators.
SPOILER SHIELD
Wreckers or checkers
Creed did nothing wrong. Golden Child Hill started the BS, tried to wreck him.
RCR embarrassed themselves
No one watching the race how do they make money?
Rights fees. They get paid whether anyone watches or not.
They only used front stands this race is a big part of why it's empty

@theheadofthetable4246 so half the field didn't crash at the checkered flag? Weird...I swear that's what happened in the video everyone just watched.
Haha for Hamlin. Glad he didn't make it Again
Short track racing at its best.....the cup cars are soooo screwed up it ain't funny....this is what RACE CARS at martinsville look like..
hey guys
NASCAR let's dirty driving move on!!!! Get rid of these stages!!!! I personally stopped watching and going to NASCAR because of this!!!!!😡😡😡😡
Lmfao what? Cry harder 😂😂😂
Thank you for never confirming who the 4 racers are... Extremely professional and knowledgeable to you have for this sport. 😂🤦♂️🤡
they did if you watched the actual race 😂
Na. It's better
