Berks County 4-H Virtual Live Stream Hatch November 2024

Welcome and join us for an egg-citing experience at the 4-H Berks County Embryology Live Stream Hatch.
Witness the incredible hatching process of the Leghorn eggs.
DAY 20: Listen for the peeping sounds and watch for the emergence of peck holes.
How many peck holes can you observe? Can you hear them peeping?
4:30 PM: Four chicks have hatched! Don't miss out on the upcoming hatchings - stay tuned for more!
10:30 PM: Seven chicks have hatched. Welcome! Observe how wet and exhausted the hatched chick is. Can you see two pieces of the shell? Can you see the chick's egg tooth? Look how clumsy the chicks are; so tired!
DAY 21: HATCH DAY! Seven chicks moved to the Brooder Box to rest and keep warm.
Keep watching for the remaining eggs to hatch.
4:00 PM: All the chicks have moved to the Brooder Box. Get ready to enjoy the next phase of this incredible journey. Look for the egg tooth; it will quickly disappear.
