Custom Baling And Wrapping Our 2nd Cutting Hay

We decide to have our 2nd cutting hay custom baled and wrapped. We hired a neighbor who did a great job!
Jason talks about why we hired the work done instead of doing it ourselves, like we did for the first cutting.
We mowed and raked the field and Mike did the rest.
He charged $16 per bale for baling and wrapping. If that sounds like a lot to you, remember that when we do all of the work ourselves we still have out of pocket costs-specifically renting the wrapper and buying the plastic.

Costs are insane this year costs another .83c per bale more for just fuel and netwrap. Gl!

You're right, the plastic use is the thing we like least about wrapped hay.
