Back in my college days (78 & 79) I ran a 4:16 (which is my PB indoors or out) at the armory when it was a flat board track that you were afraid of getting splinters if you slipped and fell (which was a real possibility if you were a sprinter. Anyway Lex runs sub 8 and Aaron runs 8:01 and Colin runs sub 4 and your NPHS websites makes no mention .
Yeah i've heard story's of the splinters. Sounds brutal. And yeah the school has never been the most supportive, but its alright we get a good but of recognition from the community.
You are living multitudes of young runner's dreams. Thanks for sharing your adventure. Kudos to you, your teammates and especially your coach. Hope you all stay healthy and have a great season.
Your channel is great. Love the glimpse into the prep, food, team mates and overall experience. The fact that you are all great runners having a great season is icing on the cake.
I'm an old dude runner who is fascinated by you guys. Very good video production value with the music, etc., and love it that your coach participates and you're on a first-name basis with him. Keep having fun, stay healthy, and stay humble!
@@LLexandleovloggs I can tell you guys are having fun. I enjoyed watching the streaming broadcast of your 4x1 mile relay. Great job, especially considering you had no relay or indoor racing experience.
Conveniently enough, Nick Griggs from Ireland who just turned 17 ran .1 of a second off you breaking the European U18 record just yesterday. Be cool to see you 2 clash internationally in the future (he definitely could have ran faster but the closest competitor was a 8:14)
Truly the best content on TH-cam! Working through a hip injury right now, but you two are such motivators that I cannot wait to get back on the track. Keep it up with the epic music and montages!
Give me the 29° in Michigan! Need the ice on the roads to melt so I can get back out and run without falling! Also tell Colin for me that he is an insane runner!
Hey Leo I am doing an athlete profile assignment of you and your brother and if you could answer these questions it would be complete. What is your favorite race you have run? What is your height and weight? Who is your favorite pro runner? I am so excited to watch you run next week it is always a treat.
AWESOME vid, I was so excited when I saw you break 7 live, I'm currently also in my junior year, and I have my first meet of the season this Friday, I run a 4:38 mile, but I want to get down to Sub 4:20 by the end of the season, what are some tips you guys have, it would mean allot if you could help out.
@@LLexandleovloggs Ok! thank you, I just found out I have runners knee, so that will be a minor setback, but I still have my sights set for a fast high school mile!
I raced a few times when I was in high school two years ago there at the armory and like you said the bank feels good. I raced on a few indoor tracks without the bank and it sucks
Congrats Gents on awesome races/ times 🏃♂️😀👍. Definitely an experience for you all. From the left side of the USA, to the the right side 😀👍…….. I’d rather be on the left side to be honest 😬👍……so much to do in California 👍. Speedy recovery hopes for Leo 👍.
Awesome another exciting episode of L&L to watch. Recommend doing challenge videos where you challenge any runners of your choice. It won't be easy. Two youtubers I have seen who done intense challenge are Table Tennis Player Adam Bobrow and Nick Symmonds. These two youtubers have challenge people who are experienced in their field.
Hey man I love watching ur videos!! Im a runner too and I’m looking to improve and eat healthy and was wondering if u would help me a little with a workout and a diet??
Its actually really nice. Its only a few reps at race pace of really low volume. You dont even feel tired after, its full rest. Really primes the legs nicely.
So great seeing the progress. For all us long-time runners, it's such a treat seeing these vlogs. Great stuff.
Glad you like them!

Thanks for letting him know
He's so close to beating Nico young's time

Eat good unprocessed foods
Get at least 8 hours of sleep

Sub 16 4x1600?

I think if Aaron picks it up, sub 16 is 100% possible.
