Thank you Allison. Besides creating a wonderful abstract botanical, you so generously shared your process and the concepts that drove your work. Awesome!
It is such a treat watching you paint. I love the way you show your color mixing and how you push parts back and bring other things forward. Thanks so much!
Oh goodness me ive really missed seeing you and yr great videos as im sure many others have too. Really good to see you create a lovely piece of work Thankyou. Hope you are okay.🙂👍👍👍
Thanks so much for this enlightening video. I learned a ton and I’m going to go use it right now. I appreciate you sharing these videos. I feel like I’m finally learning to paint. 😊
Wow that’s gorgeous. Love the mix of exciting lines and bigger blocks of colour. Great to see the range you achieve with such a limited pallet. Off to the garden now to see what it can offer! Thank you
Really loved this video and learning about your process. Do you have anything that goes into how you came up with the original drawing/ painting that you began this video with? Would love to try something along these lines.
I don't have a video on how I began this drawing. I started with blind contour drawings to loosen up, then kept this loose approach in building up layers of line, not worrying too much about making them very accurate.
You've given me so many things to try! I love this! By the way, did you ever try turning the painting upside down now and then? Might find some more hidden treasures that way. (Not that this needs improvement in any way.) Thanks for the great tutorial!
@@alisonwatt8570 Hi Alison- the volume is fine in most of the video, but in certain portions- esp towards the end, your voice is quite faint. I had the volume all the way up and had a hard time hearing you.
I loved this so much! Seeing your process is enlightening. Thank you very much for sharing your artwork❤

Beautiful, what a nice explanation! However your audio was really soft.
thanks for the feedback on the volume--will watch that next time.
I am enjoying the visuals but. Really struggling with the volume,
hmmm. Not sure how to help. Did you try adjusting the volume on the play back?
