Good video. FYI, for anyone who's wondering how to switch the order of the flight modes, you can do that with the digital switch setup menu. The B switch is normally set to -100/0/+100 but you can swap it to +100/0/-100. That does the same as reversing the switch. You could even set it to +100/-100/0 if you need to.
My right stick controls throttle and left stick controls pitch somehow. How do I change it back. I’m not using an airplane receiver I’m using drone receiver
That might be what many traditionally call a European stye radio and I am not at all sure if it can be changed to a left throttle. You need to contact Spektrum for the real advice on that particular transmitter.
@@flyingrcdotnet it just changed all of a sudden. It used to be on the left stick, however it just bugged itself in a menu and crashed. Next thing I know it’s on the right stick
Tom, can't figure out how to set different dual rates and expo on the different flight modes. I'm using a 2 position switch on my dx9 and when I switch between flight modes the ratea stay whatever was programmed into either mode. So if I make a DR change in FM1, it does the same when I switch to FM2. What am I doing wrong?
As far as I know, dual rates and expo are separate from flight modes. I always set my dual rates and expo but not in relation to flight modes. flight modes covers trim changes in those channels you select.
I can't figure out how to set up flight modes with 2 switches. When I try, it assigns a mode to both switches somehow, and then changes the others. I do not want both switches to share a flight mode. Any advice?
Three years later and this is still the only video showing how F-modes work . Thank you!
Excellent Instructions, easy to follow. Thank you.
that trim menu hidden in the system list is what stumped me! works on dx6 as well, great video!

Thanks for the great video. Please say more about how you set throttle/idle by flight mode.
Thanks got it finally. Simple and effective
Awesome tutorial, thanks.

How to you change flight modes? I want my throttle on the left stick but it is stuck on the right

@@flyingrcdotnet Ah ok. Thanks for the quick reply. Greatly appreciate it.
Great explanation, thank you.

I've never tried two switches. I'd pulse Spektrum to see if that's even possible.
sensational video !! great explanation
