    I am making this now and absolutely love how it's turning out. I have a question though. I'm old and disabled and don't have a printer so it's hard for me to get a copy of your pattern. Can I purchase one and have the hard copy mailed snail mail to me? I want to use this over and over again using different colors. It's so pretty.

      I'm very happy you like this pattern. I am unable to send you a hard copy of the written pattern. My patterns are only available as electronic (PDF) versions from Etsy. The written pattern is also available on my blog: crazycoolcrochet.com/crochet-granny-square-top/ I hope this is helpful to you.

    • @CrazyCoolCrochet
      @CrazyCoolCrochet  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm so happy you made this. The design of the sleeves does not allow for an easy way to shorten them. The only thing to do (unless someone else out here has a better suggestion...please share) is to fold them up at the wrist. Not ideal, but would certainly work. Thank you again!

    Im really curious as to why you quit crocheting along with us in the video when you reached the rows with the SCs. As someone who is experienced I'm sure it was probably easy for you to recognize your stitches at this point but for me I became so frustrated I have almost given up. It was really difficult to figure out where to go in with the Hook on the next row of DCs because it's hard to see the entry points after the cluster in the previous row of SCs. I have ripped mine out several times and feel like quitting. I have binge watched your videos in the past and never saw you quit until the end of the tutorial. I love your patterns but honestly I don't think I will do another one unless I watch it through to the end. I don't mean to sound ugly and hope you don't take it as such but just letting you know how difficult it was for someone like me who is fairly new to crochet. Your patterns are beautiful. This one was one in particular that I really wanted to make but so far I don't know if I will be able to finish it and keep my BP down enough without having a stroke😂😂😂

    • @CrazyCoolCrochet
      @CrazyCoolCrochet  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm feeling your frustration loud and clear. The reason I "stopped" showing the row by row detail is because the instructions were just repeating row after row. If I continued to film every single row the video would be two hours long. As it is, this is one of my longest videos. TH-cam actually dings my channel because the vast majority of viewers only watch for 2 - 3 minutes. If the video is too long I get dinged because TH-cam thinks people don't like my videos. Also (aren't you glad you asked) the videos were originally intended to be companions to the written patterns. I'm very sorry that you are having issues getting through this one. I do hope that you manage it to the end. If not, I appreciate that you gave it a good try. Thank you for all of your feedback.

    Are you keeping your tension loose because it’s a top or is your tension always this loose? I’m just trying to gauge what my tension should kinda be bc I’ve never actually finished a top ever lol. Yours I love bc the front bodice is very versatile for fitting. I think I am placing the center higher up towards my chest and chain 3 turn until the neckline. Love your video, thank you!!

    • @CrazyCoolCrochet
      @CrazyCoolCrochet  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I typically work with a looser tension. I'm so glad you like this design!

  • @niania7022
    @niania7022 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I am so confused when you get to row 15 and quit showing what to do. You say single crochet in pattern. I've been working the DCs in the spaces so are you saying to do the SCs in the spaces? I've gotten this far and the rest of the pattern is confusing from then on. I wish you had done at least the front panel so I could see what you're doing.

    • @CrazyCoolCrochet
      @CrazyCoolCrochet  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      On row 16 it tells you to continue the pattern as you did for row 15 using single crochets instead of double crochets. Just repeat row 15 using single crochets. Of course the "sets" of either DC or SC between the corners will increase with each row. I hope this helps. Here is the printable Etsy pattern: crazycoolcrochetus.etsy.com/listing/1194670410/crochet-granny-square-top-pattern-in I also provided you the written pattern in your previous question. I hope this has been helpful.

      @@CrazyCoolCrochet Thank you for answering so quickly. I had never crocheted the
      3 sc in the same stitch before I guess so I wasn't sure if that's what you meant. I'm fairly new to crochet. I'm making this though and it's turning out beautifully so I'm definitely getting a hard copy of your pattern because I'm sure I will make it many more times in different colors so I didn't want to lose the pattern in case my devices crash😂. I also had to use the yarn I have in 4 weight but it's still beautiful. Just disappointed I didn't have the lavender. Love your channel and again thank you for your help.
