This is great! I'm running Abomination Vaults right now. I only wish those spoilers for Chapter 2 were not here, or I would send this to my players. I probably will, after we finish that section.
I have traversed under Otari. And I am now leading a new group of four through the troubles. This video was a delight. Liked, subscribed, and commented to push the algorithm.
@theloretour ! Old GM, new to PF2e, and a lukewarm lover of Golarion. But this video... well done, sir. Well done. Your delivery and style made me love the city of Otari and want to explore it. This caused a cascaded effect, making me go through other relevant videos and devouring those as well. You have greatly helped my enjoyment and knowledge of the setting. Thank you for your hard work, and you, sir, have earned a sub!
Hopefully, this evening at the Rowdy Rockfish, we'll hear your rendition of the "Belcorra Nursery Rythm". One must never visit Otari without hearing two to three verses. It's simply foolish, as if yourn attempt at challenging Desna to look away until your next return.
I really love your videos, I wish there was more scripted content on TH-cam with this quality. The only unfortunate thing is the spoilers from adventures (troubles in otari & abomination vaults). I think your channel would grow more if these were spoiler free overviews, that way we GMs could send these to our players.
I loved this. I hope to see so much more. Definetly looking into a few more vids. Recommended the vid to my players as they are trying the beginning box.
One map comes from a talented Redditor, u/Danscath, and the other comes from the Abomination Vaults adventure path. Most images are Midjourney generated. Full credits always in the description.
@@theloretour Is there any chance of making the images downloadable? I'm currently running troubles in Otari and this video is wonderful for explaining the background of the lumber industry to me, a new GM. I'd like to show the players some pictures of the town while we play, too.
@@johnmoran1310 Agreed, can we get an imgur album or something? This is sweet. For theater-of-the-mind, this is really ideal for visual aids. So much work clearly went into this.
I don't have any plans to redo the video to remove the spoiler for Chapter 2, but I would posit that it's probably still safe to show to players even in an AV group! I think it's minor enough that it's embedded enough that it's likely to be overlooked and unidentifiable unless someone cross-references the source material. Just my two cents! :-)
Hey! u/Danscath's Otari map is available here: www.reddit.com/r/Pathfinder2e/comments/oo075o/otari_map_inkarnate/. u/iamromeo's Starstone Isles map is available here: www.reddit.com/r/Pathfinder2e/comments/l6xmr7/map_of_kortos_islands/. The in-house artwork is available from the various adventures that are set in Otari: the Beginner Box; Troubles in Otari; and the Abomination Vaults adventure path. The rest of the art was made via Midjourney, and I have linked an album with those images in another comment below. I hope that helps!

This is so good, love that you've done it in an immersive way

I can't overstate how well this is done! I've watched it multiple times simply because how enjoyable it is to listen to it! Amazing job!
The sound effects make this SO perfect!!

Been awaiting this one.
Awesome introduction to Otari!!

Fantastic stuff.
This is amazing, gave me a lot of ideas on people and places to include in a game after Beginner Box!!
Great video and idea! This serves as an excellent primer for players. Well done.
This is awesome! Please consider Osprey Cove (*Rusthenge*).
Such top tier content.
Where did you find three wonderful images and maps of Otari?

Well this is gonna be helpful, especially if one plans to run menace and troubles in Otari, and of course, Abomination Vaults.
Very good
this is absolutely amazing, wish I could share it with my Abomination Vaults group. Any chance for a spoiler free version?

@@theloretour thanks. Real good content ;) I will folow you :*
I’m so stupid, I spent far too long trying to work out why they always had pens for livestock, cause I was imagining sheep scribes 😂😂
