Or Lainey.Having him mess with Tad/Dixie was very true to his character, IMO. I'm not sure what Opal's issue was. Dorothy Lyman's version would have been over the moon to see Tad marry his way into a rich family. I liked Jill Larson, but her Opal was very, very different from the original character. Maybe that's why they threw in the contrived conflict.
I wonder why Opal and Palmer didnt want Tad and Dixie to be together I start watching these scenes right at the time Opal came back to town and crash the Martins thanksgiving but I still dont know why ............
