It's ironic that regular screens perform way better than LTPO ones in battery consumption. Considering that LTPO panels are designed to consume less battery.
@@leosantos4854 Resolution doesn't really have any noticeable impact on the battery. You'd have a bigger impact if you're comparing AMOLED and IPS LCD than you would comparing FHD and QHD.
@@keyjeyelpi it still does, at least on my usage,I guess when you say "normal" screens you refer to mid range phones with only full hd screens without ltpo anyway, so no way to test how they would have performed with quad hd resolution... i get an hour of extra SOT on my op10 pro just by using only full hd
My biggest gripe with most phone companies is how experimental they get with the rear camera design. It's like they don't know where to put them, but for some reason there must be at least 4 cameras on the back.
Took awhile to find but this video offers much of what I wanted to justify my choice of phone at £450. Colours look natural. Photos don't disappoint. Screen clarity good. Settings look useful. Sound comes across as poor, but Im used to that on a mid-range Android. This phone prompted a move away from my Honor 10 primarily due to it being stuck on Android 10 and what I considered the best performance for the price. Think I've got better all- round performance with the exception of sound quality and minus the earphone jack. Many thanks.

So been using pixels, Samsung s series and iPhones but just got bored of them plus each seem to have some inherent problems pixel 7 camera glass shatter just not worth the Google run around you will get, s23 too expensive for me and iPhones well not for me, so I been using HONOR 70 great phone but software is a let down haptics are awful, so now got a oppo find x5 for £399 after nectar discount etc so far it's been great let's see what long term is like
I'm currently using the Oppo Find X5 and I have to say that its battery is not that great as being said in the video. Not a heavy user either. And as usual with SD 888 powered phones which are cooled passively, it gets really hot even when going through some basic tasks. But for its current price - 470€ - I'd still recommend the phone.

@@mariolal3136 The cameras are great on this phone. It's just the CPU getting too hot (known issue of SD 888), but other than that, it's a great phone. I'm still using it, battery life is bad but anyway.

the chinese colors OS kinda sucks... delayed notifications, it was not possible for me to set a launcher as default, too many uninstallable apps, and cannot set google assistant as default

I have one of these phones. I love this phone. Speakers are fantastic and it feels amazing. Battery can drain when watching entertainment. The software is amazing and adapts to me

So for the past 4 years Oppo has gradually transformed the "Find" branding to a conventional and rather boring flagship like most of the competition; looking back at the first versions of this series like Find 5, Find 7 and Find X there were some unique features which you could not see in any other products. I know, we can argue that some of those features were not practical enough to make their ways in newer versions, but the point is I used to massively get excited for a new "Find" phone because it was innovative, but now that sensation is fading away real fast....and that's a shame!
find x2 pro was super good, i still don't get why they ditched that periscope lens. find x3 pro introduced the microscope which was gimicky but nonetheless innovative, in the find x5 pro, they ditched it again without any replacement

Most of the phones with LTPO uses a Snapdragon 8 gen 1 or 888
LTPO is useless if the phone can't take the heat
