They used to have a handful of vocalists sit in on certain songs. Although I like Spencer, Elliot Coleman(old Tesseract vocalist) is my favorite featured vocalist and I'd recommend anyone to listen to his new band Good Tiger. The songs Periphery and HS have in common were originally HS and were turned into Periphery songs after Marc joined.

@ridealot100 I've seen them live as well. Your opinion is still wrong. Though I can agree that Dredg is an amazing band. And "djent" is a sound, though it's considered a genre by many now that it has expanded. It's been around since Meshuggah started it in 1987. It isn't going anywhere.
the drums seemed really off at one spot, but other then that it sounds fantastic, I dont know why everyone goes on spencer so hard though I think his range is fucking ridiculous, hes underrated imo

@kalloused Some stuff isn't all that bad, but I guess Misha neglects the fact that Spencer came out of the dark, when they finally were ready to release the album we heard demos with Chris and they did the Thrash and Burn tour with him. The album came out and it had different vocals(Spencer) voice. I give credit to him for vocals on Frak the Gods and Jetpacks but watching their videos on youtube his vocals really aren't up to par with the album.
