      Yes, "cold feet" is when you decide not to follow through with a commitment (such as a wedding). 👍

    3. in cold blood
    He is guilty of murdering three people in cold blood.
    4. to give sb. the cold shoulder
    My girlfriend has been giving me the cold shoulder. I don't understand why.
    5. out cold
    A left hook struck the opponent's jaw and knocked him out cold.
    6. to pour(=throw) cold water on sth.
    When I came up with an idea, everybody else was just pouring cold water on it.
    It's so mean of you to throw cold water on the kid's dream.
    7. the tip of the iceberg
    A: How serious do you think the turmoil is?
    B: Disastrous. The things that are going on now are just the tip of the iceberg.
    8. to break the ice/an icebreaker
    She's really good at small talk, and she's always the one who breaks the ice.
    The teacher started the very first class of the semester with an icebreaker.
    9. to put a freeze on sth.
    The Fed put a freeze on the series of bankruptcy filings by printing an enormous amount of money and buying lots of financial assets.
    10. to freeze up
    My greatest weakness was public speaking in the past. I used to freeze up whenever I had to speak in front of many people.
    11. when hell freezes over
    A: Our country is going to win the World Cup this time.
    B: Well, yeah, when hell freezes over.
    12. to freeze sb. out
    What the rumor was saying was a complete slander against him. However, no one gave him the benefit of the doubt and froze him out.

    Weird¡ icebreaker sounds + but it should be - . For me "ice" no good. And heartbreaker sounds - but it should be + . Heart is life. Give me your opinion. As you learn Spanish you can see that these expressions are similar.Thanks in advance.
