yay, paper balls! the plastic balls were so bulky and useless for me, so they just sit around since i don't have the heart to just throw them out. i hope they'll fully adopt the paper route eventually!

I'm happy to hear about the transition to more paper packaging! I don't personally think 65% is quite enough, and I'd love to see MGA move to more ecologically friendly packaging for all of there lines (seriously there's so much plastic with RH) but it's a start! I welcome the change.
I also think if they're moving away from the plastic balls that they should include a small stand for the dolls still.

I love the little kewpie doll shape! 🥰 It feels sort of retro, but not in a forced way, like some of the Popmart type figures... that are little to retro-modern, cutesy, and quirky for my tastes. (I like modern toys that reference retro things, without being super self-conscious about it.) I also love the more “biodegradable” packaging, since my main reason for not liking these “surprise toys” is because of the excess of unnecessary plastic packaging. These are small enough that they would be fun to collect, and the accessories are almost too adorable! ☺️😊💖🌱
These are so cute and I really love the colours and the little accessories - the tiny cactus in particular. Glad you pointed out that the sticker was a heart shaped earth as I thought it was actually a camo pattern behind them at first glance.
AND paper balls!!!!! Amazing, they sounded sturdy enough, shame they didn't include the indentations where you can stand the dolls in but the fact that these can be recycled is such good news. Also as they're paper they could probably be used in crafting projects or children could maybe paint them and use them as hanging decorations. So glad to hear that they want to use them more in other products too.
