I did it twice by myself because he was working out of town. I also did it without drugs and midwives. It’s hard you are right.

We all cry and seek for our mommies during vulnerable times regardless of birth or not. I love watch labor and delivery videos because I too was once a baby, my mom once too held me in her arms. It’s so beautiful 🥺

We are a lot stronger than we think. I delivered my first 2 with no epidural. My first born was 10lbs. Now with my 3rd I had to get the epidural. I was in labor for 24 hours with only 2 hours of sleep within 48 hours
Erika You guys are so lucky! I labored for 57 hrs 48 unmedicated but I ended up having to get a C-section after a failed induction.. I suffered so so much but my body wasn’t doing its job I wasn’t dilating past 4cm I felt defeated and like such a failure but my midwives said they’ve never seen anyone suffer and endure that much pain I’m so proud and stubborn my husband and mom had to talk me into getting an epidural so I could rest before my surgery.. lord knows I cried my baby girl is healthy she was 9lbs 1 oz 21in long she’s 3mo old and I still can’t believe how incredible we women are! 🙏🏼💪🏼🤍
I was only 17 years old and gave birth to my 8lb daughter without epidural or pain reliever on the IV... It was so hard but was such an amazing experience!❤️❤️
The nurse is awesome, she’s a real hype woman telling you you’re doing amazing calling you momma & babygirl💕 I know it was sad not having your mom there but that nurse coaching you & saying positive things is beautiful ♥️

Yes, mostly all nurses are amazing. I have had some amazing nurses, they just make it all better. One of my nurses massage my back for like an hour at one point.🙌🏻

Lily Cisneros the epidural itself wasn’t bad because it’s not painful. The challenge while getting it was staying still during a contraction. But my problem with it is that now I have severe back problems 😓

In the Bible, it does not say that we are supposed to pray to saints, statues or anyone else except that we pray through the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Yes, the Virgin Mary gave birth to Jesus but it does not say we should ask her to help us.

I love that Else’s mom was there for her, maybe not physically but she was there emotionally and spiritually with her daughter. I wish my mom was there for me like that when I was 19 having my first baby. Now I’m 25 and I have my two beautiful babies and she wasn’t there for either one. I’m crying , she had all the emotional support that I wish I had and she gave birth during a pandemic😭

I think she doesn’t mean it in a bad way. I’m guessing she’s saying because usually influencers do their makeup so they won’t go bare face especially since they’re being recorded. Elsy didn’t care, but she’s just as gorgeous bare face or full makeup. But also ppl do their makeup at the hospital to help get their mind off the pain or have time pass since you can be there for long hrs. There’s nothing wrong with bare face or a glam face tho 💕 we are all there to deliver our babies 👶🥰

When ELSY started crying as soon as she started to push I felt that and started crying myself , I remembered the pain I went through when I gave birth to my son two months ago . A mother is a very strong women who goes through a lot and knows what she’s gone through and knows what giving birth is ❤️🙏🏼. I love you girl & congrats to your little family 💘

Sorry but what you are saying is wrong. Many mothers decide to get the epidural or birth in different ways. Women make decision over their bodies and process along the way, just because some one chooses something different for them doesn’t make their experience better than others. Stronger than others , more special or MAKE IT MORE MEMORABLE
All births matter , all mothers matter we need to stop deciding what’s the best for other people’s bodies and decisions , just because you think so. You CAN UPLIFT a WOMEN without SHAMING OTHER WOMEN.

Some women feel that the relief provided from an epidural helps better prepare them for labor and delivery, especially if they’ve been laboring for a long time and the process has been moving slowly. An epidural can provide a woman with a chance to recover and gather her strength for the rest of the birth process. After an epidural, some women are even able to get comfortable, relax, and sleep for awhile - a good way to store up some energy for the physical demands of childbirth.
Without feeling the intense pain of each contraction, many women feel that they are better able to focus on the actual process of labor and childbirth.
There are some doctors who believe that having an epidural can actually speed things up. When a woman has been laboring for a long time and is feeling exhausted and tense, her body naturally tenses up in anticipation of the pain of another contraction. When she receives pain relief, her body relaxes, which can allow the cervix to dilate faster, which then ends up speeding up the rest of the labor process. Some studies have shown that when given in the early phase of labor, epidurals can speed up dilation. Other studies have shown that the timing of the epidural doesn’t really make any difference in the length of labor.
Some women may put off the decision to have a baby because they’re worried about the pain. Some women may have their mind made up to request an epidural long before they go into labor. Some may choose to labor without pain medication to see how it feels and if they can do it, and then decide to ask for an epidural when they can’t take it any longer. There’s no shame in that.
It’s up to you to weigh the pros and cons or the risks and benefits of any medical intervention or procedure and decide what method is best for you.
And don’t ever let anyone shame you for what you want for your vagina or your baby.
Let’s stick together and accept each other.
We already have it extra hard , other shaming assuming moms make it shittier
Let’s be careful with our mouths and make sure when they open they spread love and understanding for other humans beings pain.

like you said it was because of my preeclampsia they didn’t want me to endure the pain it would have made my blood pressure worst. However I dnt think she meant it in a bad way, I wish I had the guts to go through giving birth without an epidural but now expecting my third im scared and probably will get it again lol. But it is because I am scared haha so I still think not getting an epidural makes them both, you and others champs !!
prestigious23 Totally love , I’m sorry that must of been really hard. I’m so happy you and your baby are happy and healthy 💗 There is so much more about being scared , it’s also anxiety , trauma , expectations and if you get Anxiety it gets physical it can lead to a panic attack. It’s more common than what we know. Your body knows how to birth and you already birthed , you are way more stronger than what you think 💗💗💕💕

The moment the baby was in her arms she stopped saying “ow” it’s true that a mother forgets the pain once they look at that precious baby 💕 congratulations, and so very proud of you enduring all the pain for that bundle of joy.

Elsy you’re so strong! Giving birth is the equivalent to having 20 bones fractured at the same time. The human body is only supposed to bear 45 “units” of pain during birth mothers can experience up to 57! Shoutout to all the strong mommies that have given birth and to those who were prepared to but their babies went to heaven instead🤍
