I bought all three mounts as a set on Amazon for $70 in early 2024. swapped them out with a floor. Jack and a few handtools, took an hour and 15 minutes working casually. The car feels like it’s brand new.

I just installed the 3rd passenger side motor mount and the other two just once in the 130.000 miles. If changing it again in the future i will try the OEM mount. Nice video thanks for sharing.

Great info, I've replaced the main mount on my focus and as you say, the aftermarket mount doesn't last long. Also, the steering pump whine is like the filter in the reservoir, another common Focus problem.

I Bought a 2005 focus with a lot of shakes mostly in idle and in drive waiting at a red light. I just changed my transmission side mount with an after-market one. The shaking has improved a lot. Next, I will do the torque mount to see if there is any further improvement. The engine side looks brand new and is OEM with a ford sticker on it.

If you swap all mounts and it feels worse you have another problem causing the vibrations mine was half the main crank pulley ( which is an dampener) and the gearbox ! Changed pulley it got halted changed gearbox as had a stiff gear one and now NO vibrations And I’m using aftermarket mounts… but that was my problem now car is a dream to drive 💪🏽

Hydraulic oil on rubber... what could go wrong? Love the Focus but these are more planned obsolescence crap just like the lifetime air filters.. Polyurethane mounts is a much better option.

that one bolt on the chassis that you were feeling was kinda not tightening anymore, mine is stripped to oblivion and its impossible to remove too it infinitely spins, what makes it worse is I've tried loosening it from the top an pushing it up from the fenderwell but its just stuck in place. do you know how i could remove it? I'm thinking drilling it out and making brand new threads OR using a bolt and a nut with washers on the bottom

New OEM passenger side mounts for the 2005-2011 Focus are nowhere to be found, as Ford has seemed to discontinue them. So the question is, are there any decent aftermarkets? There are hydraulic aftermarkets.

My son has changed amounts on his focus numerous times over the last two years this car absolutely eats motor mounts don't buy crappy mounts from RockAuto or anybody else buy them directly from Ford they're going to cost more but they're going to last.
It's a shame nobody makes a good urethane Mount or something a little more solidly constructed.
I guess you're a thing wouldn't be the best choice but cuz it's still going to vibrate but probably not as bad and the a
    mount will last
