Hi everyone! I finally prepped enough to be able to get something out on the first day. And man, was it hectic! I've been at it non-stop for the entire last week and now I'm exhausted ~ (sleep schedule is in shambles, too) Anyway! I'm sure there will be new optimizations to come to the rotations soon enough (I'm attempting to cook up some alterations already). So, expect more coverage in follow-ups! After I recover a bit I'll hop back to streaming too, maybe we can make some cool rotations together? I've seen a LOT of comments asking for comparisons between Jinhsi comps. These numbers are subject to change as new rotations get discovered, but as of right now, here's the 2-minute DPS of various comps: Jinhsi + Yuanwu: 41K DPS Jinhsi + Yinlin: 54K DPS Jinhsi + Zhezhi: 54K DPS Zhezhi + Sanhua: 45K DPS
Great video Maygi! Just a suggestion but if you could include dps comparisons to other characters in the same slot as the new character in this case Yinlin/Mortefi that would be very helpful. It's a good metric to see how much value one can get by replacing with a premium version for certain teams.
You're absolutely correct that she just created the most comprehensive guide even with all the numbers that matter. But no need to disdain other youtubers, spread love not hate.
I think the most other guides give a decent overview, but it’s mainly just basics and stuff you can learn if you just read. But Maygi’s are the most in depth and most useful. Others are useful for a quick scan.

Hmm, doing 2 jinhsi's enhance skills per rotation is an interesting idea, no one would do that since jinhsi will lose her stacks after the 1st skill. Thought it was certain that this team rotation would be funneling 2 intro skills into zhezhi to cut her basic string for full forte bar. Keep cooking!
This is the most in-depth guide on youtube right now. Great job! I think it would be useful to add also a simpler rotation for more casual players. Without all quickswaps and dozen of steps to follow xd
I agree 100%! I may make a metric in the calculator for like, swaps and/or actions per minute, to weight the "intensity" of it, and then make some simpler versions !
i need to ask a few questions for the weapon comparisons: do cosmic ripples actually trigger their effect when off field? how does zhezhi trigger the effect of stringmaster off field? wouldnt she only have the buff for a maximum of 5seconds when obtaining onfield and then switching?how would she refresh it? was moonlit clouds used for the weapon calcs or rime?

@@Maygi interesting, I saw a cn guide that compare yinlin+sig vs zhezhi vs sig. The diff is like 4-5% with zhezhi+sig winning. But relatively same if zhezhi isn't using her sig. TimaeuSS vid cover that cn guide if you are curious. Might be because of different rotation.
A few things I never understood in the videos: At Substats Optimization, if we take ATK % as an example, why does the lighter color with full substats have a lower percentage (2.75%) than the darker color with no substats (3.19%)? Also, please note that this video is not addressing the difference in damage with Yinlin,. Jinshi Yinlin, or Jinshi Zhezhi, nor whether the Yinlin DPS at different sequences is better than using Zhezhi at different sequences. Would be interesting because I know Yinlin can hit like a Truck and she has some big Constelations.
I like to use both extremes on the graph so people can see the maximum range of value~ When you have no substats, the value of gaining a line of stats is relatively a larger gain than when you have fleshed out subs. For example, if you have 100% ATK base + 0% from subs, adding 10% (110 / 100 = 1.1) would be more impactful than adding 10% when you have 32% from subs (142 / 132 = 1.08)! I didn't cover specific comparisons because it's too early. I have numbers on my calculator for a rough idea, but I would like to have some more time to cook and optimize Zhezhi rotations to get a more accurate picture.
Hey since you're so deep in the sauce already, you should try making a comparison of Yuanwu vs Zhezhi on Jinshi's forte generation, cause a whole character just for 25% skill buff is insane
If u wanna do a lot of dmg and be cheap u can use Yuanwu on healer set and Taoqi as sub dps, that way u can use other subdps chars like Yinlin or her on someone else that isn't op and needs the extra help. But this way Yuanwu only buffs and helps with stacks. Its the best use case if ur not gonna use a powerful subdps like Yinlin or Zhezhi. Yuanwu's ulti is a waste of time to me and his skill can be annoying ro reposition when u don't wanna lose buffs on Jinshi. Mortefi is another option that can be very good particularly if u run double ele% on Jinshi and u got him at S6 with the 5 star weap with good echoes on him. I never use Yuanwu as a subdps cause I like big numbers and he can't help there.
Was wondering whether to get zhezhi signature or stringmaster (I don't even have yinlin) for zhezhi and encore. I think I'd go with stringmaster due to how universally good it is
I'm confused, why would we use heron and switch to verina in the rotation? Does Jinshi still get buffed like that? I thought Heron buff only affected the next character swapped and disappeared if you swap again.
Heron places a "dormant" effect on the user that is procced to the next character when an Outro happens within 15s. Because we don't Outro at that swap, it's fine! We're just getting the Echo on cooldown a bit ahead of time~
@@Maygi Whaat!? I had no idea there were things like that. I believed Echo buffs were always super strict until now. So I can use Heron with Zheshi, normal switch to Verina, then use Verina autro to switch intro Jinshi and Jinshi will still get the Heron buff directly? I would love to see if you could make videos talking about less known interactions like this. I think it is very interesting!
she's definitely a huge jump from yuanwu in terms of damage, though sometimes the utility from yuanwu can help a bit ... ! from initial calculations, she roughly matches yinlin as a support for jinhsi in terms of damage.

She showed the Sanhua team because its the best main dps Zhezhi team. With Lingyang he'd be the main dps but the team is weaker than the Jinshi team. Still a viable team though

Ok, I LOVE your rotation. It's more fun and more effective than the garbage I was doing before. And it also seems to work better with Baizhi if I'm using her (because you know, we only have so much Verina stamina in ToA). Slightly slower first rotation, but it's not too dissimilar after that

It was already impressive what you did before with your "spare" time... but this shows the untapped potential due to time constrains. This level of talent and commitment will take you beyond your expectations. Keep it up. We'll be here along for the journey. And yeah... I would love a follow up with a Chanli team.
Too hard rotation for me my brain cant keep up will simplify it for my self like start wil zhezi ult then verina and outro to zhezi and her skill etc and outro to jinshi and her skill and boom big damage then ult then repeat outro to zhezi ult and so on but dont know how much damage loss will it be compare to her rotation.
Can you also please do an s6 Jinhsi rotation?? It becomes complex as you have to intro twice but making sure you outro as well so Jinhsi can get stacks faster

From my initial calculations, the two comps clock in at roughly the same DPS (over 2 minutes). I think I can optimize Jinhsi Zhezhi more, though!

with how strong jinhsi's dps is, i'd save verina for other teams and just run jinhsi+yuanwu(rejuv)+zhezhi(moonlit).
