My goal is to create one book a month. I have one under my belt and am eager to create others. My goal is mostly coloring and puzzle books for kids along with a few for adults. In regards to the spot the difference puzzle book, how many puzzles would you say is a good number to have?
Can you explain the difference between “Commercial usage allowed” and “Commercial & Full POD usage allowed” for Creative Fabrica graphics and fonts? Thanks!
Thank you for the great tutorial, Rachel. I have read online that many people had their KDP account suspended because they have used Creative Fabrica's templates which causes a lot of duplicate content on Amazon, which of course Amazon doesn't like. It feels pretty unsafe to use CF graphics these days. What are your thoughts on this topic?
Nice tutorial. Do you prefer Affinity over Vecteezy? Something that has kept me from doing coloring books or others where I have to created the design, including this niche you're sharing, is the time it takes to create designs or modify designs. To do a book of 50, for instance, could take a few days, at least until one gains proficiency with the program. And, I worry about copyrights. Copyrights notwithstanding, what are your thoughts on the time it takes to create designs? By the way, this is a good niche, IMHO.
Great idea for activity books. Thanks. Enjoyed the video. Are both sides of a page when the book is published ? I thought the paper used was too thin, and the reader’s markings, or coloring would bleed through to the other side. I’ve published 3 books so far and have always left the “back” Side of pages blank. Finally… any plans for a “hidden picture “ tutorial?
Loved these when I was a child...Publisher meaning Microsoft Publisher or...another stupid question. If you get the graphics do you have to not use them when you cancel Creative Fabrica?
Would you say Canva or Affinity Publisher is best/easiest for creating covers? I'm always struggling to get things centered on my cover in Canva. Once I create and upload to KDP, it never seems to be centered on the front any longer.
Hey there! I prefer Affinity Publisher, as it has many more features, but Canva is probably the easiest of the 2. Are you using templates for your covers in Canva?
@@RachelHarrisonSund Yes. I’ve been using templates since I started creating the covers. I’m not sure how I keep running into that issue. So I automatically offset my covers now, but it’s a lot of guessing.
▼ Looks great Rachel! But those glaring white dots (lights?) in your eyes are very spooky indeed! ▼ Also you mention that CreativeFabrica is $9 but the screenshot shows $4.99/month. I checked it out and the price is now $9
I love that you're a details person, Teena. Yes, those are lights in my eyes (I'm not possessed, I swear). I'll have to check out the screen shot you're talking about.
@@TeenaHughesOnline Once you become a CF subscriber those discounted prices will start popping up on your CF homepage from time to time. They had a great black Friday discount when I decided to turn from a monthly to a yearly subscription, and the price I paid was $4.99*12 months. If I decided to turn it into a 2-year subscription in the next couple of days, it would be 3.99 a month, paid yearly.
Hey! Yes, there is a fake account trying to scam my followers with crypto. Would you mind reporting it please? I've filed an impersonation report as well, so hopefully it will be taken care of soon. Thanks!
@@RachelHarrisonSund Oh no! I figured it was a scammer. Yes, I'll go back in and see if I can report it. I think I blocked the account already, but I'll try!
Will you be publishing any children’s low-content books this year? Let me know in the comments!

I published one two days ago!

Thank you for uploading this amazing video
Thanks for watching! Is this a niche you'l be trying out for yourself?

Does Affinity come with fonts or do you have to purchase them in addition to the software?
Affinity uses the fonts that you already have on your system, and you can add fonts that you download from other sources.

Same here and also happens to others using Canva…. I can know tell who is using Canva 😂 because all of our covers are off-set. 😂

@@Ohio_Memory_Bears oh no 😂 Glad it wasn’t just me! I thought I was doing something really wrong.

the problem here is alot of publishers may publish the same content and put their accounts at risk

The CreativeFabrica screenshot is at the beginning, around 01:48

Hi Rachel, I received a message from you on IG. I then noticed two IG accounts. Just wondering if your page may have been hacked.
