@@BrisVegasFishing After all that rain we had recently, a walk along the beaches would be worth it. I've found a shitload of hard bodies doing that after heavy rains in Mackay.
@@BrisVegasFishing Haven't bothered. River clearing up a bit with the big tides pushing in, looks like soup at low tide. Water very dirty off beaches but clearing.
Mate if u go to the new bridge where the ring road runs now, south side of the bridge u will see a little creek, cross the little creek and walk under the bridge and cast around the pylons low tide, caught heaps of barra there, just be careful as its like carpet bottom there and once snagged on it it won't come off, also another good spot for barra is off forgan Smith bridge at night with live mullet, fish off the bridge on the smaller creek side incoming tide, get some big barra and jacks off there use a dilly pot for a landing net, hopefully see a video of you getting a few fish under the new bridge,
@@BrisVegasFishing sure does mate, also at seaforth at night fishing off the jetty with live mullet incoming tide, have caught a few barra there also, even kinchant dam, can't live bait off the boat ramp with a small cast net but don't get caught and use the livey and throw it out with just a hook, no sinker, have caught over 100 barra of the ramp there at night, do it late at night
Yeah you seen right. A bit silly I know, but where we were catching tarpon was right up the top of the goose ponds. They’ve literally got a foot oath next to the water.
Maybe you could tell us budding fisher people a bit about the gear and the technology you use to bring us the content you bring us...eg,Rod and reel type, lure types, camera equipment.
Looking forward to seeing how you go up there, that was a good sleepy you got buy the way. Hope you enjoy yourself.
The options up here are gonna be just endless, very exciting possibilities 👌
There is an MMD Splash prawn in the mangrove tree to your right, of your first cast. I left it there a few weeks ago.
😂😂😂 I reckon there’d be a few mangrove Christmas trees full of lures around the place.
