In long term scenario, these little babies will be a modern classic, way more than the 650 that are selling like crazy nowadays. These are rarer, are similar to the original 60´s model. For those reasons, I think they are cooler than the new ones. Maybe I´m biased ´cause I got one, but those are also the reasons why I keep mine and haven't upgraded yet.
Agree with you very much my friend! They have the vintage feel unlike the new 650twins. Nice and small, big single cylinder just like in the old days, kicks starter for that awesome old school feel and the sound of it is a pleasure at any rpm. Disclaimer haha I have one of my own as well, wanted it for years much more than the 650, very happy with my choice. I plan to keep it for the rest of my life.
You are so right. 535s are classic british bikes with the minimum necessary for euro normatives. The 650s are good bikes, more refined, more powerful and better built, but in the end, just cheap Triumphs.
The 535 is an excellent bike. People who are comparing it to the GT650 are comparing two very different chassis dynamics. The 535 handles way better than the 650 twins and the single thumper is a joy to use with the right exhaust system, the stock is crap. I also like the hardware used on the 535, proper Brembo brakes, Keihin fuel injection with proper Keihin throttle bodies, Paioli suspension. It’s an exquisite bike and a future classic for sure, it’s the closest modern bike to something like the DBD34.
I own the 2018 Euro 4 version and I just love it so muchh, the bike is pure joy to ride. The sound it makes makes my heart beat. Nice classic big single cylinder. You feel it in every gear and how it tries it's on high speeds but still keeps going. Charming classic beautiful looks old lines, dual tubed chassis and my favorite the kick starter it's so cool to be able to kick it alive like an old machine, and you can always count on it if your starter fails! Nice vibrations that remind you that you ride an old school machine some people don't connect to that but it's a delight. Overall this bike is a wonder to own it can go up to to 120kmph and cruise nicely at 100kmph more than you'll ever need. I enjoy riding it between 70~100kmph. Super fun in turns, nimble and pretty, it makes you feel so cool everywhere you go with it. For me it is the perfect bike.
I have a Black Royal Enfield Continental 535 GT, and I bought it seven years ago !!!! I've had no Problems with it, but I have fitted a Lithium Ion Battery in it, so now the Bike is almost Maintenance Free !!!! I prefer the Single Cylinder, to the Twin, and they are very rare in the UK !!!! And my other bike, a KTM RC 390 RC Racing Bike is even Rarer !!!! I never see another Bike the same as my 2 bikes !!!!
Hi Throttle Company, congrats for the shop and thank you for the GT535 review: sound is amazing. As collector of old motorcycles, I ve been captured by the look and the feeling of the Royal Enfield's motorcycles, expecially the GT535 (with the old logo) and the Classic 500. I've bought a Classic 500 2016 with Hitchcoks kit 535 cc kit and a custom exhaust, more or less the same HP of the GT535. I subscribed your channel. keep on like that making reviews of vintage motorcycles!
This bike was the Reason for aproacching me to motorcycles world, you have a great taste for the bikes, I’m a cafe racer fan, Greetings for México city.
I rode one today and was always hitting the nuetral so idk! It was a fun lil bike, not sure if I pull the trigger due to one vs two cylinder ones with ABS.
love riding mine, it keeps you focus on the road. unlike himalayan, which gets boring and travels through anywhere and just goes. getting imported tyres got costlier, leaving with very less options. i feel like buying another one as they are really cheap. Almost costs as new 100cc bike. imagine.
Nice bike minus some minor typical RE problems (like the sidestand switch issue). I'm wondering how this would fit somebody a bit taller. It kinda looks compact. I'm 192 cm / 6.3 ft tall. Would that be cramped?
Estes motores 535 apresentam algum problema crônico? Acho mais atraente visualmente a 535 do que as novas twins 650 2024(com roda de liga leve🤢🤢) Tenho vontade de adquirir uma 535, são oque preciso esteticamente!
i recently purchased this same bike in the 2016 model, any tips on how to make the stock mirrors vibrate less? the mirrors are practically unuseable when im anymore than 3500rpm.
Yes, but what do you miss about it exactly? You just wish new bikes had them on them to be able to talk about? Do you use the kick starter often? Is that your preference for starting the motorcycle? I’m thinking they removed them because no one actually uses it.
@@throttlecompany yes, I use the kickstarter often, just like this guy th-cam.com/video/cpeKC7-a6vc/w-d-xo.html I also remember a friend who got a weak battery early in the morning and can't start, me I just kickstart my bike to life and jumpstarted his, that something to talk about then

Go for Continental gt 650 that's the better and stable version of this bike

Is it wise to buy this beauty in 2021?
Are the spares available?
Yes, and yes,
Nice, good going.👌👍🏼

Maybe, but some taller riders prefer the riding position to be able to stretch out.
