Need patience of biblical proportion to deal with people in the island. Everything on island time. I’ve bought one of the 3br when it was 270k.then I end up paying 290k( material increases🤔) was supposed to be finished dec 31 2021. Then the date changed to march 2022. After numerous calls and emails I was just told it will be end of June 2022. I can write a book about the process of buying a house in Jamaica while living in another country. Lawyer fees, down payment.thousands of dollar later.

Developers have been developing HARDSHIP and FAMINE all across Jamaica. Potential farmers are getting squeezed out. These exorbitant priced homes were strategically implemented to force decent, hard-working Jamaicans to be indebted to the banks, some of these huge loans they'll never be able to repay! This in-door lifestyle has been forced on to the people while they destroy the beautiful country gathering the big bucks for themselves and their families - the rich oppressing the poor! While the land is being destroyed, the Chinese own most of the food that we consume. NO ANIMALS + NO CROPS = STARVATION!! People unuh wake uuuup!!!
Jamaica have so much land for farming. No one wants to farm. Better you tell them to wake up and farm instead of worrying about developers actually developing the country to have people move back to the island and add more to the economy.
It's not the house you're paying for. Security, and other amenities.
