Any tips on how to get your birds higher levels quick, I do the arena and might eagle boot camp and buy black pearls and then buy hat sets to level up my slingshot to help level up my birds, anything else I should be trying to do?

Keep playing the regular part of the game. Star rank is important.
But if you have $$ to buy gems, you can reset your 5 game streak in the arena and get two more sets of arena coins every day.
