This channel is without doubt the most important and influential here on TH-cam. No nonsense, just straight to the point with a clear and understandable delivery of information for both the new and seasoned photographers. I have been a Pro shooting commercially for around 22yrs now and i also hold landscape photography workshops here in Australia. This is the Channel that I recommend to all my students that attend our workshops. Thank you for bringing this one to us all here. Take care
The beautiful footage with Miles made tears of joy run down my eyes, I say bravo to this little boy and his Father, exceptional parenting and love between them ❤️
Hello Miles. I think you have a beautiful smile. 😀You made me laugh when Daddy was trying to show you the sun and you kept looking at the camera. 😂😂😂😂 You are very lucky to have such a lovely Daddy. Take care 😘😘😘😘😘😘
I am crying right now, I miss my son, he passed away in 2012 he had a genetic condition in which he couldn't speak, walk or hold himself strait, and many other problems, I miss him every day, and seeing your son going on a photography trip with you bright me great memories. I am not a religious guy but they are the closest thing to angels.
I've not long discovered this channel and love the videos. I'm also a disabled photographer with a visual impairment in one eye and dyspraxia but don't let it get in the way of me enjoying my photography and capturing some great photos.
Star of the show was Miles! The section with Miles in it had me smiling all the way through, what an inspiration he is. Also enjoyed the section on waterfalls, safety very important as I found to my cost this morning when I slipped in beach rocks and left myself with large bruise on tender part. (But the images were ok!) Look forward to next edition guys.
OMG lovely to see Miles with big smiles & laughing, the love between parents & the children no matter what & for you to get him out with you & interested in the same thing is so important. He looked like he enjoyed every part of being included in the show. This hit home with me as i have a boy who has autism i tried to get him into photograpghy but he found his own way by enjoying taking videos & still does after 5 years now.... Great show guys...... way to go miles keep your dad in order ;)
Hi Miles! Your smile is contagious. I really loved the image you took of the sunset and church. Lots of detail and really sharp. You are lucky to live in such a scenic place. You have a great Dad - he let you borrow his camera to take the shot. Hope to see you again. Cheers, Scott.
Lovely show! I especially liked the waterfall segment and the very touching segment on Miles' landscape. Keep working on it Miles, you'll be a Pro in no time at all!
Miles I really enjoyed your segment on Photography Online. I thought your bird pictures were excellent. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to seeing more of your photography in the future. Have a great Christmas and a Happy new year. Ps Thank your Dad and the team for producing such great content. Allen
Wonderful feature with Miles. Did he set the camera up? No. Did he hit the shutter? No. Did he and his Dad look like they were having fun and spending quality time together? Yes! That’s photography. Well done Photography Online team and Miles!
Miles, you are an inspiration! Great shots! I love the dynamic between you and your Dad. I laughed out loud when you were responding to your Dad using you as a hand warmer... Keep up the good work Buddy!!!
Victor's photo is beautiful, and speaks to Scotland's folks (who outside of Scotland would think such a wooly be-horned beast would be friendly??). I like how he said he likes to shoot with lighting that illuminates...Nice work Victor!
lovely bit of filming of marcus and his soon made me quite emotional as im a disable photographer to and i try and dont let my impairment stop me from doing what i love is photograaphy too so great piece
@@PhotographyOnline thanks the same to marcus and his son miles too very inspiring young guy and hope his wildlife photography starts getting even better thinking of entering the scotland photography competition this year round
I came here for some good photo education and inspiration, but what I got was way more than that. The crew that puts on this channel are amazing. Not only are they talented and skilled in their craft, but are kindhearted and compassionate people. I used to subscribe to photography magazines here in US before they all stopped printing. So I figure this is the next best thing and just became a premium member. Please keep up the great work !
You will get better and better. Compliments for your show. It's still January 23, but I'm already very much looking forward to my stay in the lighthouse. UNd yes, the contribution with Miles has touched me very much. I am glad he has such a loving environment.
Hello Miles - Thanks for letting us come along to watch you taking this great shot. It would have been fun to see your reaction to "Daddy getting his mankini out". Next time perhaps?
Another great show! Nice to see Miles branching out into landscapes. Not as much water over the Falls of Rha when that was shot compared to when I was up there last month!
Love the show especially the waterfall piece, painting with water is one of my favourite types of photography. Award Marcus a score of 6.4. for his dive at the waterfall but the best feature was definitely the one with Miles as the guest presenter and he was definitely the star of the show
Was great to see the smile on Miles's face, and loved the Q&A. Hope the whole team has a joyous festive season, all the best and look forward to more episodes in '22. More bloopers please!! :)
To Miles: Your dad does a great job on you. I can see that you enjoy being on tour with him. Keep on going with photography and I hope to see you in one or the other episode next year. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and all of photography online team. Greetings from snowcovered Switzerland.
It was great seeing Dad and Miles together doing what they love together. I have a daughter Whitney, who has an Intellectual disability being Epilepsy. We also go out together with our cameras shooting what catches her eye. Her images are brilliant , the things she sees that i miss are incredible. We both live in Australia but we both love watching your show and the beautiful landscapes of Scotland.I have been To Scotland hoping to take her there with my wife in 2022. Looking forward to your next show. Merry Christmas to all.
Amazing episode and fantastic to see Miles again. This channel stands way above everything else on TH-cam. Happy Christmas guys and I'll see you in February when I'm up again.
Loved the tips for shooting the waterfalls. But even better was being able to see Miles enjoying some landscape photography. Good job Miles! One of the best videos and channels on YT!
Folks, have to say, you've one of the best photography channels out there. Incredible amount of useful information in the videos. I might be echoing some other comments here but that's great to see.
Great and emotional segment with Miles, great father and son example and a beautiful relationship. I enjoy your show every month even if being far away from Scotland and living in the central north of Mexico in a desert makes imposible to find scenery such as yours!!! Congratulations and keep the great work.
Thanks Javier. It’s good to know we have viewers from all over the world. We bet you’ve probably got some great (but different to ours) locations close by. Thanks for watching
Nice job Miles! Glad you helped Marcus taking that beautiful landscape shot! Keep helping in the developing a versatile tripod, I love those three legged things!
What a wonderful show, I didn't think it was possible but your shows just keep getting better. Superb tutorials and information presented in an enjoyable format. You all do a wonderful job. Thank you all so much for your time and effort.
Finally! Someone recognises disabled photographers…..it’s nice to get recognition. I am however, annoyed how other pros slate APSC cameras. I am short of stature, have small arthritic hands. I’m worried that a bigger camera means I won’t cope with the weight/size difference. With ratio charts available online…..I would love it if you were to do a session based on these types of camera.
Hi Kate. Thanks for your comments. We did do a whole feature a few months ago where we explained sensor sizes, so maybe this will be useful to you. We don’t skate smaller sensor cameras, but we have to counter balance to false claims by those who think they offer a magnification or depth of field advantage (which they do not). What they do offer is smaller and lighter body and lenses, but this is the only real advantage. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
Another great episode. So nice to have Miles back. I love his laugh. Speaking of laughs I had quite a chuckle at the safety portion of the waterfalls segment. I hope you all enjoy the holidays.
Thanks guys for another enjoyable and informative episode. Had a good laugh at the bloopers but it only goes to show that its many takes to get that perfect show…….you’re the greatest👍👍👏👏😄
Really very good waterfall instruction ! However a tip of the hat towards compositing (for shadows/sky highlights/focus) may have been beneficial for some? Lovely to see Miles' happiness - his laugh made me smile :)
