Potomac River smallmouth. 18.5 inches on a Zoom Fluke (Oct 2024)

This fish was caught late October. River was low and gin clear. During this time, smallmouth are usually roaming in Wolfpacks...at least the larger ones are. This fish was in a group of about 5 fish, all roughly the same size. Whenever they are in a pack, as soon as the bait hits its first to get there / first served. I really think a donkey rig (2 flukes) or an umbrella rig will give me the chance to hook up 2 fish. Will try in the next outing :)
