I can't see this being anything but Hush. I don't think CMON would use it as a red herring even if it would be a great one. I'm hoping we get some expansions that are story-based like Multiverse so I can go back and read the book while I wait for it to deliver.
Hush graphic novel. The character pool is as follows: Heroes: Batman Catwoman Robin Nightwing Harvey Dent Oracle Huntress Superman Krypto Villains: Killer Croc Poison Ivy Harley Quinn The Joker Lady Shiva Jason Todd Clayface Scarecrow The Riddler Hush Others: Alfred Harold Allnut Ra's AL Ghul Talia AL Ghul Leslie Tompkins Thomas and Martha Wayne.
I would love nothing more than an injustice box, the only thing with that is that it was a game first and then got a comics run set 5 years prior to the events of the game. It’s not a standalone graphic novel but a comics run, and they said graphic novel. If it’s not hush maybe kingdom come or watchman?
Superman wasn't evil during Injustice. He just suffered from bad PR. He made the lives of almost everyone in the world better, and achieved far more good during that short period than his previous time as Superman. But then again, Benjamin Franklin said: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
My bet is Hush as a basis, but also including Jason Todd stuff since his return was teased in Hush right? Having an alternate Bats and Catwoman seems like an easy retail push. But Jason Todd would sell the box to me… or to people like me who don’t just want everything… well people who like Jason Todd. lol
I think Hush is the safe bet. For variants, in addition to Batman and Catwoman, it could give us a Harley Quinn in her original costume, and a Tim Drake Robin - I would think the campaign will give us Harley in her current costume and Damien Wayne Robin. This would be a long shot, but in following the Hush story, they could also provide Superman as an antihero since for some of that story Superman was mind controlled by poison ivy and fought against Batman and Catwoman. I think Hush and Riddler would also be shoe-ins. The box could include almost any Batman villain (so many of his mainstays were in that story) and many of the Bat supporting cast. Overall would be very marketable - with no need to be familiar with the Hush story.
Very true, and they can always take liberties with who they add in (like how Scorpion was in the Maximum Carnage box even though he wasn't part of that story). As long as I get Riddler, I'll be happy! LoL
I think you’ll be in luck. I feel pretty confident that we will get Riddler in either the campaign, the standalone retail box or both. What could be cool is getting a villain riddler in the campaign and then a challenge Riddler in the retail box - similar to the Carnage in Maximum Carnage - where he is on the board causing problems and if you don’t deal with him and his riddles, he turns into the main villain. :)
Also to you post United games you play ? Would likw to seee how your play style is. I love the game but no others in my area witht the same Zeal for this game.
I haven't posted a gameplay video yet but I might in the future once Multiverse arrives! My style is I play 3-handed solo and I choose every hero and Villain randomly.
CMON are already testing this model with Zombicide DCeased The retail starter box has alternate versions of existing heroes compared to the ones you get in the core box, a batman more based on gadgets instead of planning and a Harley based on her original costume, for example
Well if we get a evil superman. He should be hard ro fight . Something like you need to due all 3 task to be able to would him . Maybe one of his cards says to take an extar turn or something like that due to his super speed.
I hope it's not injustice or anything that has evil versions of the JL. I want blackest night to be that box to that that. It makes sense for blackest night to have evil versions of the JL
It's a way to explore the gravitas of some of the characters in DC too big to be a stretch goal. Like Nightwing, Catwoman and Poison Ivy. Plus, a character like Huntress is a bigger character in this box as a Stretch goal as well.
I love Injustice, but I really hope it’s not in this first wave of DC United. There’s so much main universe content to be used, I really don’t want to see any multiverse stuff. Kingdom Come and Dark Knight Returns would also be great boxes. But hopefully in a season 2.

Of course the DC united games aren't the first in the united series, but it is the start of the DC line of them. I get the reason because shipping is so crazy high. @@AndrewFantasia I forget how much there was in the Mutliverse campaign until they recently posted a picture with all the stuff. It's crazy. My guess is it would be a little smaller then ramp up with additional campaigns.....only a few more days to find out!
It is so Hush - CMON's clue was a little too on the nose. If we get a differnt Bats it could be as simple as blue and grey Batman instead of Black and Grey Batman - both color schemes are equally as iconic.
True, and they could always take liberties too, like how Scorpion and Scream were not a part of the Maximum Carnage story but they put them in that box anyway. It could be a Hush box but include characters who aren't really part of the Hush story.
1) Did you play it? The gameplay was very different from anything released so far 2) You seem to be ignoring that that the theme is Spider-Man Multiverse so of course there are character similarities but they play differently 3) You don't know what digress means
@branboom3342 Did I play it? At least 10 games with each hero. Scarlet Spiderman is Spiderman 2.0 not-unique, Spider-Punk, also a Spider character a little more unique, Symbiote Spiderman is very similar to both Silk and Scarlet Spiderman and now Iron Spider as well. Anti-venom plays unique, but he's a cris token character, and it's a variant of Eddie Brock. Peni Parker is unique, really the one hero that is. Spiderman Noir plays unique but bad and again Peter Parker variant. This should be obvious, no? Digress means to move away from the main subject. If you read my other posts, you will see that. They talk about Hush, the character groupings in Hush, and potentially why they decided to use those characters in a standalone box.

Hush graphic novel.
The character pool is as follows:

Batman
Catwoman
Robin
Nightwing
Harvey Dent
Oracle
Huntress
Superman
Krypto
Villains:
Killer Croc
Poison Ivy
Harley Quinn
The Joker
Lady Shiva
Jason Todd
Clayface
Scarecrow
The Riddler
Hush
Others:
Alfred
Harold Allnut
Ra's AL Ghul
Talia AL Ghul

Thomas and Martha Wayne.
I need it now and can’t wait until this campaign starts

LoL True, they might very well take some liberties with the graphic novel, same way they did for the Civil War box.
I’m pretty sure it was retconned that it actually was Jason Todd and he switched places with Clayface mid-fight.

I’m thinking something like a stealthy mission where you have to sneak some Kryptonite to him without him killing you first.
Yeah, a fight with Superman should have us sweating.
Injustice was a game first, comics second. It will be a box in the campaign, akin to Civil War.
