SIFISO KINGDOM MKHABELA

Kingdom joined Ligwalagwala FM in 2018 as a presenter of ‘Sisonke Midday Grooves (SMG)’ 12:00 - 14:30 on Saturdays as well as the ‘Weekend Wrap’ on Sundays at 22:00 - 00:00. His passion for radio was ignited in the year 2007 where as a teenager he was invited to be a guest on Ligwalagwala FM’s youth programme. He fell in love with radio and worked tirelessly to realize his dream.
Mr Sifiso Kingdom Mkhabela passed away in the early hours of Monday, 26 October 2020 in a car accident on his way home after completing his show.
Kingdom will always be remembered as a gentle soul who got along with everyone he crossed paths with. A true team player who would stop at nothing to lend a helping hand where needed.
