Die filer - Part 11

Like it says - the end really is in sight. In this part, I finish machining the ram slide and ram, fettle both and mount them on the base plate. I finish the trial fit and look forward to the final instalment.

I've ordered a new power supply from eBay, so when that arrives, I'm hoping that will finish the project. Main difficulty I'm having/anticipating is getting the correct form of die files (at a sensible price!) such that the cut of the file is on the downward stroke with the top plate resisting the cutting force.
There's also a tilting table conversion in mind.
