Thank you so much for this!!! You presented the info in such a clear and concise way, and I never knew you could set dynamic rings as a default with tokenizer - its made my life so much easier and I absolutely love the way the tokens look!! Thanks again ^^
This is great! FYI I don't think the word "dynamic" makes clear what's going on to people (I initially thought it would automate replacing your token if you morphed or polymorphed or something) Maybe how to make the image "stick out" or "extend outside" or "pop out" of the border? Anyways, this is a great addition!
Great video! Just an FYI there is a mask in foundry which is the "foundry default mask" that the bottom circle with the top a large square. This makes the icons fit in the token with the top part coming out. It works for most tokens that allows the pop out look on the upper half.
I had no idea what dynamic token ring tokens were for before watching this video. So I was thinking "what's the point of any of this?" ... until the very end. Then my eyes widened and I smiled. Great video. Thanks for the straight-to-the-point tutorial.
Once you get that Dynamic Token Ring, the D&D 5e system (as well as other systems with the REDY: Reactive Dynamic Token Rings mod) can then make the rings change color depending on what happens to it (e.g. taking damage, getting healed, being targetted etc).
This is a huge change that will allow anyone to make these amazing dynamic tokens! Hey what's the UI module you use to get that nice dark mode looking windows ?
I'm only now getting into these rings, but this video made the process really easy to understand. Thank you.

Yeah that's fair, I believe that is the name of the feature foundry chose. But I definitely see how it could be ambiguous

This is super simple and also really cool! Thank you for the tutorial!

That was badass. Please make more Foundry Mod How to Videos!

Yes as the dev of REDY, recommend it for sure

Duplicating the avatar layer to see where to paint the mask !!! that's clever

Dorako UI (and UX), it's primarily for Pf2e but I assume it works in other systems
@@chasarooni PF2E is my system of choice so this is 100% helpful ! Thanks again.
didnt work, it didnt apply any frame.
Hi, not really sure what's going on on your end. I have had cases where it takes a scene refresh to see the actualy dynamic token rings
