  • A look at and flight of an Edge 540 Radio Controlled aeroplane manufactured by Seagull Models, Vietnam, powered by an RCGF 35cc (Rear Exhaust) engine. The planes specification, and a link to the model, on the manufactures website, can be found below. The plane was owned and flown by my good friends Mr Byrd and Mr Armz at สนามบินเล็กทองปัญญา(โทกหัวช้างลำปาง) Thong Panya RC Airfield, Lampang Thailand.

    Although you live in a very different part of the World Mark somehow it seems that you're only up the road, apart from the weather and tarmac runway of course 👍

    Just curious if you needed to add nose weight to balance for CG? I’ve just been breaking my engine in but and setting my rates but when I checked, need about 800g to balance at 100mm from leading edge..!

      Ive seen in most forums that the cg said in the manual doesnt work very well
      People tend to use refrence point from aluminium bar in center of wings as cg

      Hi there, its my friends plane, so I am not sure about the location of the cg, but I do know that he had to ad at least 500g or lead in the front, and possibly more, it was very tail heavy 😞
